My next character will be modded so that I can have talents from both classes as well as spells from the mage class.  I will still be adhering to the 6 total talents/spells and 2 specilizations.  My choices are as followed:

From Mage - Elemental and Primal or Creation
From Rogue - Archery and Specialist
From Warrior - 2 Handed and Vanguard
Specializations - Force Mage or Spirit Healer and Assassin

I haven't decided which would be better to have Creation or Spirit Healer.  I still plan on sticking to the 7/14 level requirements for specializations and don't know if I'll need Creations healing spells before level 7 when I can get spirit healer.

I'm interested in what everybody thinks of this.  I know I won't be able to take full advantage of all of the classes because I'll only be able to get about 22-25 ability points by level 20 and even with doing all the quests I can find and trying to kill off all the bandits I'm still only going to be at level 22-25 by the end of the game.

I would also love to hear what you would use if you were doing this.  What mix of talents/spells and specializations would you use to make your perfect character?

A Mage or Rogue with Vanguard would pretty much stomp anything. Vanguard is the single strongest normal tree in the game, debatable if it's better than Assassination.

Creation is a much better tree than Spirit Healer.  Hell, Spirit Healer is pretty much trash except for the good passive and the Group Heal, which isn't even that good.

I wish some of the talents for the rogue would work with 2 handed weapons instead of only with dual wielded weapons.
