You deserve to be cast into the deepest, fieriest, most vile pit of hell for not wanting your entire squad to be replaced with Infinite Jacob.

Oh lord, seriously? Seriously? We're going back to this?

Alright then, lemme break it down:

Garrus was a squaddie in ME1.
Garrus was a squaddie in ME2
Garrus is a squaddie in ME3.

Tali was a squaddie in ME1
Tali was a squaddie in ME2
Tali will probably be a squaddie in ME3

Ashley/Kaidan was a squaddie in ME1.
Ashley/Kaiden is a Squaddie in ME3

Liara was a Squaddie in ME1
Liara will be a Squaddie in ME3

Out of the entire ME1 team, only Wrex probably won't be coming back as a squaddie in ME3, and even that isn't wholly certain.

Literally the entire first team is coming back. Why wouldn't most of the second team come back as well? Why in the world would they stick us with a team of newbies in the THIRD ACT OF THE GAME, especially when we already have a loyal team who's with us to the end?

I swear, it's like I'm the only guy with common sense in the entire world or something.

Unless she's Exiled...

Even
when she gets exiled a loop-hole is lefft open. She tells you if she
does something worthy she could have her exile over-turned. She also
still has personal connections to at least two admirals. I don't expect
the exile to stick.

Tali will definitely be a squadmate. That's how I see's it law's yes.

M-O-O-N, that spells Tali.

I'd say that qualifies as a fate worse than death.

@Saph: You forget that Tali is failcakes as a leader. It is pointed out repeatedly in-game.

Also, the name "vas Normady" sticking should be a major hint. She's sort of Shepard's b*tch now.

Which is good, since Garrus would get lonely being Sole B*tch of Shepard.

That sounds scary and even a little bad - so I'll cave and go with Infinite Jacob's.

*looks at infinite Liara's*

Now... what shall I do with these?

I sort of agree with Zulu on this one.

I fail to see how you can mistake "Garrus is confirmed as a squadmate in ME3" for "Garrus is confirmed as a temporary squadmate in a single mission in ME3". There's a gigantic leap of logic there, just the kind of nonsense I've come to expect from Zulu.

Which means what? She doesn't have to go back to lead her people as an Admiral. She could get promoted though. It could be any number of reasons. The point is, Bioware left themselves a lot of options in that area.

Frankly though, since when has poor leadership ever stopped an aristocratic girl like Tali from finding her way into high places?

Tali is an important person in the Migrant Fleet, Garrus is... well, Garrus.

Unless she's Exiled...

And if she isn't? And if she isn't but is "betrayed"?

Variables... variables!

BTW, Liara in your sig looks like she's taken a punch to her left eye. And I don't remember her, or Kaidashley to have been put through the ME2 variables grinder, so kinda what do they do in this sig anyway?

The GI article says "playeable to some extent".

But there again, who said we're going to have a permanent squad in ME3 at all? BioWare always wanted to have a shooter...

Okay, now that I have to just flat-out disagree with. Tali has never -- NEVER -- exhibited any 'aristocratic' tendencies. She's never shown an interest in political power, never shown any incliniation whatsoever to be a social climber. She's far more at home in the trenches, working on engines, painting enemies in a nice shade of "blowed-de-f*ck-up" and generally trying to find a way to help her people where and when she can.

Now, yes, supposedly she could go back to the fleet... but to what purpose? No, seriously, what good could she do there? They have several full admirals and experienced star captains to lead them and make the huge decisions, why do they need an engine-room technician? Tali is FAR more suited as a 'go out and do things' gal -- even prior to recruiting her, she's actively out in the field rather than back on the Flotilla.

Bottom line, she's far more useful with Shepard than she would be on the Flotilla. And with the Reaper threat looming, take a wild guess as to where she WANTS to be.

Options, yes, but I doubt they'll take them.  The fanboys (and Tali) are too clingy.  However, I can see her putting her personal relationship with the admirals to good use.  For example, she could b*tch at them for us so they stop chasing the geth around and donate a few Big Ships With Big Guns for whatever battle we need to fight.

Frankly though, since when has poor leadership ever stopped an aristocratic girl like Tali from finding her way into high places?

I'd say getting her whole team killed twice is enough for even the Admiralty Board, as thick as they are, to consider not putting her in charge.  Besides, what better way to serve her people than to fight the things trying to wipe them (and everyone else) out?

Behold. (Warning-big file.)

As petty as it sounds, what bothers me if all the ME2 LI's return is that it means the only reason the VS got such a ****ty cameo was because Bioware wanted us to hate them (and cheat on them if romanced). Makes me somewhat annoyed.

Boy I am glad LOTSB was made.

Tali is the female version of Zaeed. She should be kept far away from any leadership position and stick to talking to guns combat drones.
