The feeling of being mildly spited by the Garrus part of the banner is easlily offset by the feeling of hilarity arising from the fact that the rest 3/4 of the banner entirely miss the point of the "variables" argument, and thus the people who sport that banner make themselves look not very smart, even though Bioware seems to be throwing a bone to them.
