I have looked, but did not see the answer to this one. I expect that someone will tell me this is a FAQ though...
What impact does having played Witch Hunt have on DA2? I've done an import without Witch Hunt being completed, and one with, but don't know if I am missing something or if there was no impact on the game in any way, shape, or form.

As far as I know, nothing from Witch Hunt is brought into DA2, even though it is mentioned on the Import Screen that you did xyz action with Morrigan at the end of it. In my 42 hours through the game the first time, I didn't come across any reference to it or the Eluvian or even Morrigan.

Yes, no mention of Witch Hunt either. I entered the Eluvian with Morrigan, but Teagan still says something about the hero of Ferelden being in Denerim.
