Huh, i guess it's just me then, but i would almost swear that in my first playthough of DA:2 i had a commoner dwarf imported and i heard several carta thugs yell "In the name of house Brosca" during combat. (the last name of DC...)
I must have misheard >.>

Sorry for asking, but can anyone clarify WHAT the barkeeper at the Hanged Man says in regards to the Ferelden circle being set free, and what Meredith says to Alistair later on in regards to them being granted autonomy? Quotes would be appreciated.
I've just heard MANY mixed things in regards to whether or not the boon was rejected, and would like to have it cleared up for good.

At the end of DA:O, the ruler of Ferelden announces that the Circle will be given its independence. The bartender was probably referencing that statement, while Meredith later admonished Alistair because the Chantry controls the Circles, not the kingdoms.

The barkeep says "After the Blight was defeated in Ferelden, the Circle of Magi was given its autonomy. That'll be a disaster."
Meredith: "You declare your Circle of Magi free, as if it were your right to do so, and thus stir up every mage outside of your kingdom."
