That is her romance outfit. She changes to that after the love scene sequence (possibly after you have her move in with you).

Oh Sunnie, you just keep releasing mods that I have to use lol Merrill is definately my fav character too, she has some of the best dialogue ever.

Mm... Merrill~
My favourite character in whole DA2, next to Hawke with humorous personality.
In my eyes she's kinda the DA version of Tali from Mass Effect... Sweet and utterly adorable.
From what I can see on the picture it looks great. Real nice work there. Though I myself don't use the DA launcher...

I like the non-chainmail, non-blinding white version that some Dalish hunters wear. It's got a nice organic pearl look to it. However, when Merrill wears it, there's some sort of bizarre clash between the tint on her head and on her armor, so that everything below the neck is colored differently. It's weiiird.

That, and I just like how sleek her original outfit is. The fur shoulderpads are nice, and the scarf distracts from her scary long neck.

I like all my companions equally for different reasons. Varric is very relaxed and you can just enjoy his company, he likes instigate other companions a bit. Merrill although far from innocent has that sense of innocence, quirky. Isabela, well she's just interesting, generally not bashful and puts out generally very awkward comments that make you 'lol or wtf LOL'. So on.

True, some of Isabela's comments are wonderful... But in my case Hawke is pretty much the same. xD
I mean, ISabela would be a better sister of his then Bethany... For example...

Conversation taken from the game:

*Hawke hands Emeric the templar a choped off hand and some bones, found during an investigation*
Hawke: "Recognize your mage?"
Bethany: "You're horrible!"
Emeric: "These are human bones... So there is no chance of finding Mehran alive... Or any of the others..."
Hawke: "If they are not dead watch out for some boneless women flopping through the streets."
Emeric: "Show some respect..."

I swear... I cracked up so hard at that conversation... But anyhow, have any of you ever spent some time with both Merrill and Isabela in the same party? It's so cute and yet so funny... xD
