Whenever i talk to the Proving Grounds official/announcer in Orzammar, i immediately think of the narrator of Diablo 1(and maybe 2)...the similarity is ridiculous. Any truth behind that B-devs?

DA:O really, REALLY raised the bar for game acting IMO.

They completely dropped the ball in crediting those actors though.

Branka and Flemeth are the same voice me thinks. I only noticed it when my friend was on teh 360 version in the deep roads, and I was rerolling as an AW on the PC version in the same room.

Yeah. I don't want the actors to overshadow the real makers of the game the way that they do the people who really do most of making a film, but I would really like a list.

Yes, that's Paul Eiding. ^^

He also did Aldaris in Starcraft, Kang the Mad in Jade Empire, Varimathras in WC3 and Colonel Campbell in MGS.

If you are a fan of Nathan, you should check out Castle. I am not a fan of that type of show in general, but he makes it a decent watch. There is a lot of Mal in Richard Castle. We all know that Mal, is in fact, THE F'n man.

Kate Mulgrew did an absolutely AWESOME job as Flemeth. She was perfect.

My only problem with her is that she can't join the party :(.

Thankfully Steve Valentine worked out very well.

I couldn't believe you got that guy, he's not exactly all that well known but I've always enjoyed his performances, and I don't think Alistair would be quite as awesome if he wasn't voiced by Steve Valentine :D

Can you picture her sitting in her PJ's at home playing DAO from 8am to lunch trying to get past a boss?  Image IPB

I think it is so cool that people can help bring a character to life like that by putting emotion into the voice. It is a neat talent!

Noone's going to acknowledge Claudia Black (Officer Aeryn Sun of the Peacekeeprs or Vala Mal Doran) as Morrigan? Really?

All things taken together, I would have just liked the entire crew of Serenity as my force against the Blight. Also, I demand Neil Patrick Harris have a role as a mad mage sometime.

He certainly did.

There are several big-name (or at least recognizable name) actors, and none of them phoned it in.  DAO  has outstanding voice acting throughout, as consistently good as any game I have played.
