Is Anders some kind of zombie if he died in Awakening? Does the game ever explain how he is alive again? Anyone from Bioware care to clear this up? My style of play is to kill off characters that annoy me if it is possible, so they can't reappear, but it does not seem to work in Dragon Age. Dead should be dead, unless a necromancer is around. Since Anders was a throwaway, that character should have been a new one, not a recycled one. I sincerely hope I do not have to kill him over and over is subsequent games and DLC. I would really hate being forced to deal with that whiny, demon possesed, wimp again.

My Dalish elf passionately hated the Chantry and the Templars and Leliana was his love interest who went off with him. In Awakening we find she left him for some unknow reason and I guess it was for good. There is no way he would stay with her if she went back to the Chantry he hated. Since she left it because she disagreed with it did the Chantry or Leliana change her views?

Well stated, very succinct and concise. I think you made your point quite clearly.

Anders can be explained via Justice (also from Awakenings) as the body he was in was decomposing.

As for Leliana you have answered that yourself ;)

The personalities of Justice and Anders became entertwined, much like a Fusion from the Dragon Ball franchise, if you watch that. So there went his sense of humour that actually grew on me in Awakening, replaced by a sense of duty and anarchy clearly visible in Justice. I think if you use your imagination, you may be able to deduce how Anders could have survived Awakening even if he died at the end. Anything is possible.

And yet Leliana and Zevran still somehow survive even if you killed them.

You only thought Leliana was dead and I'm pretty sure Zevran showing up if he's supposed to be dead is a bug, because he never showed up in my first play through.

The Zevran quest does not turn up if you kill him in DA:O. He is referenced though
