I'm wondering if it's related to DA:O import or a bad choice I made in Act 1... This was the first time I refused to give Martin the poison in the Hanged Man, honestly that's the only difference I can think of. If anyone can shed light on this, I'd appreciate it!

On my third or so playthrough of the game, the dwarf in Hightown who gives this quest never showed up I'm wondering if it's related to DA:O import or a bad choice I made in Act 1... As I recall, it is import related. If you get Finding Nathaniel you won't get Fool's Gold and vice versa.

There's also a bug with these two quests. People getting "Fool's Gold" that shouldn't be, and "Finding Nathaniel" not showing up when it should. Also, according to the guide, doing "Fool's Gold" cancels out "Finding Nathaniel".
