wait pink? its red.

I was wondering about that too. It might be a bit of a red-violet, but it's certainly not pink.

I thought we got over the whole "girl colors" thing in middle school.

Pinkish on my screen, maybe red-violet on yours. It's something "reddish", then? The point is, they didn't give FemHawke pink and DudeHawke blue or something. It was universal. :D

Finery is the same as in the mansion which to me is more lounge clothing...not noble tunic's...I can't remember where I found the Amell Shield though...I wanted that for my Warrior Hawke...found it for my Mage but not as a warrior...weird.

You probably picked it up without knowing because you were more interested in saving Leandra from Quentin in the All That Remains quest.

I thought it looked like pyjamas...since it was called 'finery' I'll admit I was expecting a long gown more like other women NPCs wore.

Or that I went to Du Puis for help to see if I could in fact save my mother I may have missed it by doing that perhaps...but thanks at least now I have an idea where to look for it now!

Yea' Finery should have been different then the pajama clothes...I concur

Male casual wear was okay, female made me cringe so hard I have yet to even finish my playthrough with her.

I liked Male Hawke's outfit. It was alright. Decent enough. Made sense to have this nice swagger to have him in what was basically a Dragon Age version of a smoking jacket.

Female Hawke didn't fair as well. Didn't look as good on her as it did on the Male Hawke.

Love it and loath it.
Love the top, loath the fact my LadyHawke is forced to wear a mini-skirt.
The design team did an amazing (imo) job with the new armor designs- Armor of the Wall in particular - and getting rid of the boob-holes from Origins.
Then take a step back by forcing a skirt on us - would it have been so hard to give us a set with pants?
Not ranting really, and hardly game-breaking just annoying ^^

It's in a chest in the serial killer's lair.

Creepy.  [/alistair]

The miniskirt and boots is kinda cool though.  They just need to please, please, pretty please not have the female PC sitting with legs spread wide.  Posted Image

I've never seen the male one, does someone have a screenie?

o.O

You mean they didn't do the whole "let's paint shadows on the legs" thing to avoid wardrobe issues, like in Origins?

Well you don't see anything, I just know no woman who sits like that, especially when wearing a skirt.

I just liked that Bioware realized that Hawke wouldn't be running around in her armor and weapons while in her own home.

Oh. Well, that's not so bad then. Perhaps Hawke's completely oblivious and used to wearing pants, or just more careless at home.

FemShep does. Clearly FemHawke is just taking after her example (and part of the reason she exists in the first place, because, you know, Dragon Effect). :innocent:

I liked it as well. Played a Lady Hawke first, found it nice and imagined it was comfortable to slip into. Then male Hawke. Mmm smokin jacket. I would've loathed the female getup if I hadn't done it first.
