Just wondering if there has been an update for the console versions that let you play the DLC while not being online.

Thanks

well if you've downloaded the dlc then it's on your hard drive and you don't need to be online to play it.

Yes you do. I thought it would be the same thing.

Before all the other forum sight got shut down there was a bunch of posts about not being able to play DLC on consoles without internet because of Bioware feeling the need to verify it online before it lets you play the game.

I haven't personally tried it yet. But I plan on it later this week.

But from my understanding this is what has been happening

People get the DLC at a friends house(much like I will cuz I don't have internet where my ps3 is) and it works fine.

They take their console home and then it gives them errors about the DLC because if cannot verify it because the console isn't connected to the internet

My actual version of Dragon Age: Origins Collector's Edition is the "Xbox 360" console version, so, are you telling me that after I properly download and install all of the known downloadable content online via the "EA" online servers and via the "Xbox LIVE Marketplace" online onto my "Xbox 360 Elite" Hard Drive successfully, I can then play and use "all" known Dragon Age: Origins Collector's Edition downloadable content "offline" without having to be online on the internet then???, please help.
