Says it in the title, what is the most fun class to play?

That's a very subjective question. For class mechanics, I enjoyed/Continue to enjoy the Mage class since there's no real 'dual camp' for it like Rogues (DW or Archer) or Warrior (2-Hand or Sword 'n Shield). However my DW Rogue was a beast that could crit 90+% of the time for 200% and could evade nearly all basic attacks entirely while having a pretty insane attack speed.
So far, Warrior has been the slow roller for me

Really? My first playthrough was with a mage, and I don't know whether i was doing it wrong, but it got real boring real quick. Think I may try a warrior next, because some of the 2H swords look awesome

I had great fun with my Rogue but YMMV ... I think I was just in the mood for that playstyle and didn't like 2H Warriror when I tried it.

2H warrior. Fun but they become pretty overpowered

Rogue by far, I started out with warriors and that was a little boring but I really enjoy the backstabing. I'm just starting out though on normal setting.

I played mage and I'm 1/2 way through as a warrior. Next up is rogue. If I play again it will be as a solo blood mage. Once I learned how to build her Merril became a beast in battle.

Rogue was pretty fun, though I'd say a good bit of my enjoyment came from a bug that let my dual wield Hawke use Assassinate with the range of a bow. Had some good laughs watching him stab at the air, and cause some guy to explode halfway across the battlefield.
I think I've been enjoying two-handed warrior on Nightmare even more, however, partly because I don't have to micromanage another melee companion. Being able to one-shot bosses with fully prepped Assassinate was fun, but it's matched by superior crowd-clearing abilities.

My Mage was a blast...

What kind of class people like to play is personal taste. I play example mages in fantasy games, because they are versatile with different kind of spells and I don't like melee characters.

I think mages can be the most fun but they are the hardest to make that way. Once you learn how to exploit CCCs and how to build your spells to make them effective a mage can be very fun. I disagree with the advice of the game guide to play a mage first. They are the hardest to get an enjoyable build with IMO but can be one of the more fun when you do. An archer rogue is probably easier to play at first. There is a learning curve to the mage as there is to the warrior builds. It is really hard to plan a mage effective if you are unfamiliar with the system.

Subjective all the way. Folk like different styles and even different ways to look at the same class.
On topic though, my 2 hand vanguard was a blast and a beast. Which is what strikes me as odd, I tend to play rogue style classes in most games, but this time, I went with the 2hand vanguard and had a huge amount of fun.

Rogue is my favorite right now but I HATE that they removed the ability to quick swap weapon sets for DA2. To be perfectly honest, I'm not that pleased with the way Bioware has configured its classes for DA. The whole tank-based squad mechanic is a bit stale, so I'm glad to see some of the other RPGs evolving.

Rogue. Starts a bit weak but a few levels in you will have that bad-boy or bad-girl dancing around the battlefield having things explode in a miasma of gore and blood.

2-handed warrior was the most fun for me. I think part of it was the noise it makes when you land a critical hit. It just sounds like you're really pounding them. *BAM BAM BAM*

2H Warrior was the most fun class for me.

Depends on difficulty..
Mages are fun on normal/hard where they are actually useful, and warriors/rogues are boring because they are so OP they kill everything so fast.
On nightmare, it's the opposite. You can actually die with a warrior/rogue and a mage can control the field with force/ice spells, but not really do any damage. (firestorm damage is paltry at best)

Rogue is fun for all of the damage it can deal, but it takes a lot of planning to be effective on Nightmare when every enemy can swat you halfway across the map by glancing in your general direction.

I played a mage on my first playthrough and liked the fact that i could just rain armageddon on the whole map, pretty much killed everything really fast.
Then i tried to play a DW rogue, but melee classes are not my thing really. My companions always kill my enemy before i can reach him and even shove me out of the way to get there first.
Haven´t tried a warrior yet, but i will, just for comparison reasons.

In my oppinion, it's either the Mage(Primal/minor/Force) or the DW Rogue

For me it was Rogue.
Great mix of damage & CC, fantastic movement w/ all the teleports, eye-popping results when you coordinate your party on a MoD/Hex/Brittle/Assassinate combo, fun specializations.
It's also incredibly nice to be able to easily switch between ranged / melee depending on if you're fighting a boss or just normal encounters.
My only beef is they removed the Ranger specialization from DAO. Want my Dire Wolf back

I preferred my mage. I get more RP immersion from playing the class that's central to the story.

Playing a mage is as central to the story as playing a Templar/ warrior, as the main conflict is between those two groups. Rogue is the most neutral I think.

Between Warrior and Rogue, I don't really like playing as Mages.
