Read the game title: "Dragon Age"! They don't name this game the age of dragons for no reason!   I really had to laugh out loud. But in all seriousness, I had this wonder from the very beginning of DA:O, why name it Dragon Age, after reading some Codex and a little history on Wiki about the lore of this land.  It does say somewhere that dragons pretty much died out like dinosaurs, and any sighting of dragon would be very unusual (like seeing UFO).

I think the only real dragon sighting in DA:O was the Cultist ruin where Andraste Ash is. Flemmeth and Archdemon don't count.  But I love them dragons in DA2, easy to fight, if they don't decide to exploit some bugs that is.

If I'm remembering a Codex from DA:O correctly, the current age was supposed to have another name, I can't remember what, but then the official in charge of naming the age saw a random dragon one day and decided it was a sign. Hence, Dragon Age.

to kill this HD i had to set Anders as healer/revival job, Aveline to tank and Fenris for dps, my rogue pc fired at long range and the "dog" helps a bit with the chicken dragons i dunno if there's a glitch but the HD can't seem to hit the dog with it's fireballs lol
