Don't they say that the Warden is "gone"?

This is six years after the events of DA:O I'd think they'd know whether the warden is dead or not from the first in conclusion, yes the orlesian did do it

No one really knows. I know on the default play to finish, he is alive. They did say they would have a story in play for the people that didn't play the first one and thus he/she lives and just like Hawke The Warden is gone.

I don't know where they are going with this, could be just lip service to people that wanted the Warden back or he could be back.

I know they will bring back Hawke, it left off with him leaving and felt like a half game.

I like Hawke but they should not even bring up the Warden if they are not going to bring him/her back. That just gets peoples hopes up and pisses people off when they are not back. If it is the case that the Warden is not back, they should have left him/her's name being brought up in the last of the game.

I hope the Warden but thats IMO.

Knowing BioWare, they will say both are just GONE and we play as shale in the 3rd game, really at this point it gets old with new faces coming in and trying to pick up a story that only a few can pull off. THey have half way lost me with throwing the Warden under the bus for some new character. I don't guess they get the point that people get use to a character that they built and loved. The only and I mean only thing keeping me around is Morrigan and Flemeth and the hopes of a Warden return.

They are so about the world that they negate the fan base with the constant "role up a new player" arc.

When Mike said that he didn't like seeing fan pics of all people in a party in the same armor and wanted the characters to have their own look..that really pissed me off. I bought the damn game and you are going to tell me how I make my characters look? I know what I want to say is a big boo. boo you and that is saying it in mild terms. I don't buy the game to fit your wants and needs Mike, I buy it for my fun and down time.

You tell Mike! Take that Mike!
It's our game! Not yours. Play it your way Mike and I'll play it mine Mike. If I want Morrigan in a chantry robe Mike, I'll put her in a chantry robe Mike. If I want Wynne running about in her underpants, I'll make her run about in her underpants Mike. Well actually I wouldn't but I think you get the picture Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. Mike. I wonder, if I keep repeating Mike's name - Mike - do you think Mike will hear?

If Mike's reason was the reason why companions could not be given new armor...well that just sucks Mike. Mike?

erm... theres also the point he ended the blight so he need be mentioned....

I know they will bring back Hawke, it left off with him leaving and felt like a half game.

hopefully in the same way as the warden was

no matter what they have to.  he influenced history, for the same exact reason the champion will too.

he won't there will most likely be new faces. they've served their purpose.

They are so about the world that they negate the fan base with the constant "role up a new player" arc.

They did warn everyone it was about the Dragon Age during development of origins. not their fault you didnt listen/

I don't know if this is the right place to ask but can someone please give me a quick description of DA2's ending because I didn't really understand?

What happens to Hawk?
What did the seeker lady want to know about Hawk and what was it that she thought Hawk "must have planned"?
What's Lliana's involvement and what did the seeker give her at the end?

With these questions you'd think I was half asleep while playing lol but I just didn't pick up on certain things

Oh and will there be a DA3?

basically Anders/Hawkes actions in act III prove to be a cataclyst for a world wide rebellion.
hawke dissapears into the sunset.
She wanted to know motivations, and if he was a cunning mastermind who acted the way he did to destroy the chantry out of spite.
she's a seeker too.  and it seems a book detailing the history of the champion.
my thoughts anyhow.

theres always a sequel...

Oh ok now I get the seeker part. I felt a bit lost when the credits rolled

Is there an alternate ending or does the last scene always play out the same?

Just wondering because I picked to side with the mages (didn't wanna risk losing my healers, I remember having to kill Wynn and Lliana after destroying Andraste's ashes) yet I had to kill both the templar and mage leaders

Hmmmmm, it would make sense if we played as Cassandra in Dragon Age III, handling the on-coming crisis and the implied on-coming Orelesian crisis. She is the only person in Thedas who knows what happened with the Warden (from Leliana, fellow Seeker) and Hawke (from Varric). I wouldn't have a problem with that, I liked her.
