So far I've had issues with the game crashing in two locations: The Bone Pit, and Smuggler's Cut. The only way to prevent the crash from happening seems to be having the camera face directly down. This happens to me using my original drivers, my most updated drivers, and the specific drivers located on this forum.

My specs:

AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4200+
Radeon X1900 512mb
3 gigs ram
Windows 7 home premium

I have DX11 installed but the game options only allow me to run it in DX9.

Any help would be appreciated!

You only have a DX9 card. You could try installing the latest DirectX Redist though, http://www.microsoft...91-50ceb6d8fa8d

You're CPU is borderline minimum.  Consider lowering graphics settings and resolution.  There's no way with that CPU that you're going to be able to run DX11, even if you had a card that could handle it.

Unfortunately this did not seem to do the trick. I appreciate the info so far! Anything else I can try?

I've narrowed it down to specifically the top levels of these two cave areas... either an issue with the lighting effects for said areas, or the skybox. Anyhoo, I can bypass the spots by having the camera closeup a wall all the way past the top two rooms.

I was also crashing as soon as I turned towards the mine in the Bone Pit. I tried simply looking down and it seems to work.

My set up:

MOBO: Gigabyte GA-890GPA-UD3H
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 965
RAM: 12 Gb PC8500U DDR3 ram (crucial)
GPU: GTX 560 Ti.
Sound card: Creative SB X-Fi (Fatality).
Windows 7 Ultimate

DX11 installed and card DX11 compatible.
