This is what I’ve come up with so far for my Shepard.
Adept on Insanity, still not a hundred percent that ill be able to do it to be honest.
Decided to try Stasis instead of Barrier, hoping that a bit of CC over extra damage absorption will be better. I may not go with this however we’ll see.
Also Wide Singularity to get as many shields depleating as possible, hoping with a well placed warp will take care of it.
Also, all Adepts should have Barrier by default!

I recently learned that Arrival is a solo game.
No squadmates, no backup, does this include no hope?
For context, my Soldier has no attack powers that don't involve a gun.
All the skill points went into Adrenaline Rush, 2 Ammo Powers, Shocktrooper and Heavy Geth Shielding.
I don't even have Concussive Shot!
In the main game, if I ran out of ammo, I'd just have the Squadmembers hammer away at the enemies with whatever powers they could use.
But if I'm solo, I won't be able to do that!
So, if/when I run out of ammo, what do I do?
Hit them with the blunt end of my Collector Assault Rifle?
Well theres your first problem

And I need the two powers I have, to be "flexible" when it comes to combating the enemies, so they're set in stone.
I use adrenaline rush to slow down time, but that also requires the use of a gun to inflict damage.
And since I'm a Sniper fan, I need it to "slow" my targets for that crucial head meets bullet moment.
And my Bonus Power is Heavy Geth Shielding, which protects me a lot, but it's not like it reflects bullets back to the enemy......
I'm not looking to change that power anyway, pretty much all the time, it keeps me in the land of the living, so I can't give it up.
I expect it'll be like, Phalanx pistol, empty, Geth Plasma shotgun, empty, Collector Assault Rifle, empty, Widow Anti-Material Rifle, not good for close combat, Collector Particle Beam weapon, it took me ages to save those clips and they're not replaceable, let's go melee!
And I only have one Shepherd, the Soldier, so discussing what other classes can do doesn't really help me, sorry.

CASUAL MODE!
In all seriousness I don't think my soldier will have a problem.

Uh, don't ammo powers require the use of the gun to have effect, i.e: they're on your gun and won't do anything unless you pull the trigger!

I really don't know why you assume you're going to run out of ammo. Unless you're like...really really really bad at aiming. In that case your solution would be to get better at aiming at things.

It won't be easy if you don't have Widow on Insanity.
I doubt this. The Revenant is pretty darn effective. And from the video preview they have clearly made the enemies easier to reflect your solo status (most of them lack shields even lols).

I didn't said it's gonna be hard, I meant it's gonna be easy with Widow.
1 headshot at the time.

I think soldiers are the easiest class to play, adrenaline rush, conc, shot... too easy
Maybe you should respec your Shepard before you attempt this DLC, try and find a setup that maximizes survivability and damage. You can do this from any upgrade panel, inside Mordin’s lab or at the shadow broker base.
Bet the devs are laughing at how worried some people are at not having their squad with them (I am included with this crowd).

Better question OP, can an engineer solo arrival?

I agree. I think engineers will have alot more trouble than us. We have access to almost every weapon and depending on you extra power may have access to tech or biotics.
Yeah right.
I'll beat this DLC with no trouble with both of my Engineers.

Heavy pistol, sub-machinegun, assualt rifle and heavy weapon (add to that my ammo and heavy weapon ammo armor upgrades). I hardly think my engineer is under armed. Plus Overload, Incinerate, drone and whatever bonus power (warp ammo in my case so it's always on) and I think my engineer should have this covered even on insanity difficulty which I have her set at now but if all else fails, I can just tone down the difficulty.
