I made this thread already http://social.biowar...219962/1#220024

Go ahead and delete it if any mods read this. But Im locked out from posting/responding to threads in the spoiler forums? I never recieved any message about getting a ban or anything, and I can post in all the other forums just fine, so Im thinking its some sort of bug? I can try from different computers and its the same thing, theres something oddball about my account.

You absolutely sure that you posted there before?

You can only post in there when you have registered your game in the forum.

Ah thanks, that explains why I can't post there either, guess I have to register the game as soon as I'm back at home.

I'm having the same problem, and I'm guessing it's related to the "profile not found" error I sometimes get. I'm pretty sure I've posted in the forums before, and I was able to download all my pre-order/collector's edition content, as well as purchase Warden's Keep through the Web site during the installation process, so I'm puzzled also. Things were much more transparent on the old forums. :(

Having the same problem.

I've posted in the spoiler section before but now all I can do is read, can't post in them at all.

You did not post in the spoiler section before. What you did was posting a spoiler-related thread in the General forum, which is then moved by moderators to the spoiler forum.

You cannot view the spoiler forum because you do not have your game registered for whatever reason.

There does seem to be a brand new screw up affecting some people who do have both registrations (themselves plus the game).

Gorath: please post details on what you mean - we are not aware of any issues with game registration relating to forum usage at this time.

I know that I've been having issues with registering my game. I can see all of the information, visit all of the forums, my character information is updated as well. What I can't do is post to any of the "registered" forums, nor can I register my game, though all of the information is updated to the social site and I have no issues with the DLC.

Unregistered game then registered again, now I can post in the spoiler section.

p.s. Ghoxen, don't be posting a link to this thread in another thread and insinuating that we are having troubles because we must have pirated the game...It appears to me from the many many threads that people are having various issues with these forums.

I can't post on spoiler forums either. My game is registered. no reply option anywhere in spoiler forums........

I came to the forums this time from within the game, and still no reply option.

And no, my game is not a pirate copy!

There is a difference between registering the game with EA using the registration code and registering the game on this site using the UPC from the game box. You must have registered the game HERE.

I think that's the issue some people have, registering DLC does not mean you also registered your game.
You'll have to go here and follow the instructions, that should sort forum access out for you.

I'm not sure about this but I think it's the 12 digit code under the barcode.

It is the UPC code you register. I mean you can google the UPC for Dragon Age. It is somewhere on THIS site, not EA and I can't find it any more. It is referred to in the FAQ, but with no link (go figure....)

After some digging around this is what I found in the Website and Dragon Age Information and Links topic:

4.1 Registering:

Where to find the product code for a Dragon Age boxed game:
For the PC version, the CD key should be inside the box.

For
the console versions, there should be a product code on the back of the
box, underneath the barcode. This is a 12-digit number. European
versions of the game have a 13-digit number, which some users have
reported as not being able to register on the site.

So it should look somewhat like this
1 22222 22222 1
the 1's above being much smaller than the 2's.
Now take those 12 numbers and enter them without the spaces, so to stick with my example 122222222221.

I hope that works as it's all I can come up with.

OK. The problem, at least for me, was that I thought that I'd registered and patched the game from within DAO when, in fact, I needed to do them externally. Apparantly entering your registration code when you install the game and connecting to the Website to redeem Collector's Edition and pre-order codes, registers your DLC, but not the game itself. And you acquire other DLC, but not patches, through the download menu. For me it wasn't a technical issue, just things being done differently than expected without clear communication that that was the case. I can certainly imagine that some of the unclarity results just from the Website being "under construction." And a portion from it's profile- rather than forum-centric structure.

It uses the UPC code, not the registration code.  And you need to use all the numbers including the ones to the far left and right of the UPC.  I just Googled "Dragon Age 360 UPC" and got a number that worked.
