Did you do the quest where u go talk to the grand cleric?

Had this happen on my first playthrough but it didn't happen on my fourth...I think the difference for me was that I didn't go the Elthina and talk to her while Anders planted his bomb and then return to the clinic to discuss it with him...Anders was unavailable until the chantry blew up. The next playthrough I romanced him I talked to Elthina and then went back to his clinic and talked to him(he was nuts by the way because I hadn't supported him up until that time) I had no problem...he was available from then on out.

thats more than likely the problem. I couldnt find Elthina to talk to :/

Well use the console "/runscript zz_dae_debug" to get him back.Had a bug where I couldn't use Aveline as soon as Act 2 started. Use the above command to get her back in action. On my 3rd playthrough now and I everything seems fine.

reload earlier save Anders talk to Elthina kinda like Melissa in NewVegas, there is think about it option.
