So, I've beaten Mass Effect 2, and it was one hell of a ride. (Aka awesome.)

However, I really want to continue the story with the Dlc's, Overlord and Shadow Broker (No spoilers.)

I have purchased most Mass Effect 2 dlc's. As a matter of fact, I bought them all at the same time. I installed them all, but only the small ones (Such as Firewalker Pack, Aegis Pack, Alternate Appearance pack) are working. The other ones just won't work, including the Zaeed and Kasumi recruitment missions. I recevie no new missions when I go in-game after I have installed them. No new messages. Nothing.

I've tried re-installing them many times, I've even tried to re-download the Cerberus network. It says that the installation is Complete, even though I find it hard to believe that the installation is working properly when I install Overlord within 3 seconds.

Some help would be REALLY appriciated, as I really want to continue playing.

Steam, EA download, disk version? Patched to 1.02? Windows version? Running as admin with UAC disabled? Not much we can do to help trouble shoot if you dont give us a complete problem report. See here for the info we need;

Sorry, didn't really think of that. Guess I was a little tired as well as frustrated.

Downloaded it at the EA store. I've patched it as well. The game has been running smoothly, but the only problem is that the DLC's missions just won't occur in-game. Running as admin with UAC disabled? Sorry for sounding like an idiot, but I have no clue what that means.

System Details:

Processor: Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 2.66GHz.

Clock Speed: 2670 MHz.

Physical Memory: 4,00 GB.

Display Adapter: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260

VRAM: 896 MB

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional (64 bit)

DirectX: DirectX 10.0.

I can provide some additional information if necessary, but I think my first post says most of it. I'm not sure if it occured at a spesific time, but I downloaded the DLC'S after I finished the game.

Other than that, I think I've tried everything there is. Downloaded the Dlc's many times, re-installing them, changing my location in-game, etc etc. I even tried transfering them from my brothers computer, since he is running all the DLC's without any problems at all. I've been all over google for the answer. Didn't find anyone with similar problems.

Thanks in advance.

Open the folder in which the DLC is saved to, right click on the file, and select "Run as Administrator"

Give that a try first. UAC (User Access Control) is something that you can disable in the control panel, but if you run the DLC install files as admin, you shouldnt have to disable UAC unless all goes to hell.

Thank you. I tried running it as administrator with UAC disabled, but when I run it, the only thing that happens is:

"Please wait while setup is loading....
verifying installer: # %. "

When it reaches 100%, then nothing more happens. No installation setup or anything. The box just disappears. I also tried to check the Windows Task Manager for ME2 processes, but there is nothing once the verifying setup is complete.

When I try to run it with UAC enabled, the installer pops up, but it takes less than 3 seconds before it says that the installation is complete. It takes even longer to install the small DLC'S. (And they are working!)

If needed, I can try to enable the UAC and run the installation again, then take a screenshot of the installation window when it says that installation is complete.

Give it some time, they are large files, and thus take a minute or so to kick in and start the install once the verification has hit 100%.
