but unfortunately it is not dragon age 2.
thats where the problems are,the name of the game.
take a marker pen and pen over the 2,and write "kirkwall adventures"
you`ll find its a whole new enjoyable game.

I might try that, makes sense whole lot more than anything in this game does.

This game is painfull, I got an hour into and had to turn it off, It's like they took the fight engine from Bayonetta, dumbed it down, and then drowned it in the most mind numbingly boring, coma inducing, cinematic waterboarding I've ever seen. If I go to hell, and I'm pretty sure that I will, and the Devil's good at his job, which I assume he is, this game will most likely be featured prominently in my own personalized circle of eternal torment.
You really don't think you are being even a tiny bit harsh? Sure DA2 didn't live up to your expectations, but it isn't the worst game in existence. Calm the frig down.

Oh dear, you'll think I'm one. I was on my hubby's account for a long time (I stole his DAO away, then Awakenings too). I post my fanfic under his account still because I am not sure how to change it all over. So, I look like a newbie account (hubby bought me the Deluxe edition of DAO as a present). That may not always be accurate.

I have to agree on one part and disagree on another. It doesn't suck. And calling it the "Kirkwall Chronicles" would have probably lessened some of the flak...it's not very good. It's an okay game from BioWare, and a good game from someone else.
It has more plot holes then the Blooming Rose and the Pearl combined, the waves, the over the top anime exploding bodies, the fetch quest reminiscent of an MMORPG complete with stupid golden arrows and no explanation of how I knew where and to whom certain items belonged, repeated dungeons, etc. There were a lot of things that made the game..meh. Did I enjoy my mage playthrough? Some parts very much, other parts not so much. The rogue, hardly at all. But it kept me off the streets and out of trouble...mostly.<_<

They don't need good constructive criticism, they already know they should have made Origins 2.
NO! Origins couldnt have a sequal, There is no more real threat for the warden to face, at least there is non that woul make a lick of sense to the story
No, a fully released character with his own story is the next logical step for the dragon age franchise. Trust me, Hawke will grow to be millions times better than the warden could EVER be.

You may be right but they didn't have to completelty blow up the DAO origin story.
They could had build more on what happen to the warden after the game depending on which ending u pick, if feel like this game is an extention pack of DAO, they didn't add any really noticeble new factors, maybe an multiplayer/online mode where players can pick a class and join other people form teams to pvp against others. The game is good but could be better WAY BETTER

What done is done. If people want to actually make sure DA3 is amazing, then people need to stop ****ing and actually give out good reasons why they didn't like certain aspects. Just whining like a toddler whose toy was taken away does not let Bioware know what has to change.
It is Bioware's story. If they wanted to add a new hero, then they have every given right. No matter what they do, they will never satisfy everyone so why bother trying to please everyone.

And people have...it's called the Constructive Criticism thread and the DA 2 reviews threads, both of which are official BioWare ones. The rest are for us to ******, moan, whine, jump for joy, or cheerfully and in a friendly manner debate and agree to disagree with one another.

Can I have my toy back now? I swear that GI-JOE Didn't have sexual relations with barbie!
It was stated by bioware somewhere that the DA universe isn't about a particular hero, but the world of Thedas. If they bring back hawke or the warden, they're going against what was said. I'm perfectly fine with different protagonists, although I do miss my wardens.

I think they're just gonna have Hawke for DA2 DLC and an expansion pack(if they're planning one). Like they did with The Warden. The difference being, I cared for all my Wardens, I don't give a crap about that Commander Shepard-wannabe(You can fight like a krogan, run like a leopard, but you'll never be better than Commander Shepard!)
