Is there any good "armor" for mages.....I love what you wear at the start of the game like when you first start off and when you get to Kirkwall, I love the Champion look too, but why the heck can't there be any armor with legs during the game, noooo just robes.  I'd even be satisfied with an Anders or Merrill styled robe but can still see my legs move attire.....none of this dress stuff.

Is there any non-robe attire for mages ?? Posted Image

Use a no-restrictions mod. You can wear armour or rogue attire as a mage then.

My question is: throughout the whole game, the accepted idea is that "free mages are BAD", they have to hide from the Templars and the Circle... yet you're running through town and the nearby areas, talking to anyone and everyone, so WHY is almost every armor item you can get for your mage something that just screams "LOOK AT ME, I'M A MAGE!"  There's almost no discreet gear that gives useful bonuses to a mage but has a "non-mage" appearance.
