I finished DA2....i actually liked it quite a lot in the end...it kinds of grows on you...like Isabela did for me :)
Varric said due to circumstances all the companions left Hawke...except for Isabela....well i know where she is...as i maxed her out with friendliness, she is taking me out to sea in her ship.
So for me it was a nice ending.

PS: It is obvious that Leliana is going to make a return...is it not? Thought on that please. Tell me i am right. :)

Well I'd say yes considering she appears at the end for everyone even if she dies in DAO

I ran to the mountains with Anders. I was pretty happy with that. :)

A Leliana death in Origins is non-canonical and considered a failure. Boom.

My first Hawke left Kirkwall and it's problems behind. Good riddance. I like the game, but I haven't had any kind of happy ending yet.

My Hawke is likely on a ship with Merrill and Isabella, knowing her choice to side with the Templars will likely be used against her in the future.

Probably wonders what happened to Fenris, her most distant friend (because I didn't max any points with him, got close though).

Killing lots of people and leaving the world in a shattered warring chaos isn't a happy ending?

Same here. And lots of dead templars only made this ending happier.

The "Divine" is considering retiring, so it's entirely possible for Leliana to end up in that position. >.>

Terrorist abomination dead? Check
Circle purged from Blood Magic? Check
new Knight Commander in charge? Check
Sister safe? Check
City under my rule? Check
Yes, quite satisfying.

City is only under your rule for a couple of years before you vanish, though.

They needed to have the Champion gone missing for the game to take place. Still, I wanted to become the new city ruler, and I did, even if for just a short period.

Sailing off with Izzy/Izzy and Merrill is good times imho. Just because we're sailing away from a smouldering mountain of bodies doesn't detract from the fact that the Amaranthine Ocean is really calm this time of year.

Okay Bioware people keep crying about Dragon Age becoming Dragon Effect. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, aside from ignoring them let work with the name Dragon Effect. Then we add a colon and a subtitile, then we come up with - Dragon Effect: At The Speed of Blight

This might be a slight derailment, but wouldn't "at the speed of blight" mean "like every few hundred years"? :|

My Hawke stayed somewhere with Fenris in the end, being lovey-dovey and stuff. Works for me, he was the only character (aside Varrik and in parts Aveline) I cared about. *shrug*

I'm more interested what is happening in DA3 and the Warden. So I consider this game a spin-off to let get Hawke into the picture.

Didn't like the ending at all unless there's a planned expansion or Hawke will be in DA3 I wanted a little bit of a cut scene showing my hawke and Isabella together after all the events rather than being told by the Varric.

I've been siding with the mages twice because Meredith is insane, but siding with the templars doesn't make them kill your sister? Then I'll try them on my third playthrough as warrior :)

Though my ending as rogue and mage were both pretty good, both ended with my Hawke and Isabella leaving Kirkwall behind, scattering the group across Thedas.

Also, Orsino is an idiot.

I believe Merrill is also on the ship as she and Isabela both liked each other...plus i also romanced Merrill...Isabela didn't seem to mind at all...so it's three women in a boat.
 :)
Prior to the start of the final phrase of DA2, i got to kiss Merrill and Isabela.
I felt so sorry for Merrill...after all her clan was wiped out...in her room (she did move in with me by the way) at the alienage  she sighed she had nobody now. *All i have is you" she said looking at me.
Bless her.

I think my mage became ruler of Kirkwall and had Templars over for afternoon tea.

No, she's a Bad Mother ****er.  That's got to count for something.

My mage Hawke sided with the templars and is loving with Fenris.

Oh, the irony!

I have serious, good reasons for siding with templars over mages, though.

My ending was just a total disaster.

Sigh.

Edit: MASSIVE SIGH.

Edit2: I'm... seriously... I think that this honestly had to be one of the most catastrophic endings ever...

Edit3: I need a hug.

Me too.  As we appear to be the only 2 people in Thedas who like cats, I count that as a very happy ending!  Posted Image
