I actually liked the new elves. They are now more significantly distinct as a race. Alistair, on the other hand, is unacceptable. He looks like an abomination!

If you bring Izzy there is even some dialogue going somewhat like this:

Ali: Well, you look...different.

Izzy: Don't we all? *Smirk*

My first thought when I saw Alistair in DA2 was like "Damn, that's what happens if you drink non-stop for 7 years". I get that they tried to age the character a bit but the result is pretty awful. Alistair looks like a junkie or a victim of a crazy plastic surgeon.

Nah, but it'd help if he went easy on the botox. Some angles of his face really were jarring, which is saying a lot since I can swallow the Uncanny Valley pretty well.

Have you seen Zevrans face? His skin is 1 tone whiter and his hair 3. It's pretty bad.

And Zevrans armours texture looks like it's pulled straight from a 90's video game. AWFULL.

Alistair's face is just a metaphor to what has happened to the Dragon Age franchise.

Alistair's face would have been better suited had he been the drunken abandoned Alistair, that looks like a 7 years of heavy drinking face.

While elves are now distinctly different from humans, looking at them just makes my eyes hurt. Elven bodies would be more fitting for an anorectic teenage girl now. They don't even seem to have any muscles, not even Fenris. And still he swings a sword bigger than him easily.

The elves just look so mutilated.
And so do Alistair and Zevran. Oh god, Zevran! What did they do to you?

Alistair looks really strange - haven't noticed there's a Burger King nearby. But far worse is Zevran. That's not even like him.
