I just finished my second run with female rouge romance Fenris. I heard if you flirt with Zev during Act 3 Murder of Crow quest, Fen will get all jealous and ask Zevran to back off.

That didn't happen!!!! Fen is quiet through the entire conversation, I pick every Heart dialog option, waiting for him to say something.... NOTHING... 

At the time of Zev's quest, I've long maxed out Fen's Friendship, finish all his personal quests, gived him all the gift, have all the questioning belief conversation with him, and the Romance is going normal, and I did get the Finish kiss at the Gallow.

So.... what do I need to do to trigger the jealous Fenris? I'm going the 3rd run as Male aggressive Mage Hawke and plan to rivalmance Fenris.

Did you have Isabela in your party? She'll overwrite Zevran's final dialogue where he asks to 'get to know the Champion better', which is where Fenris gets jealous.

I did have Isabella in my party!!!...I like to keep Isabella in my party because her quest reaction conversation and banters are fun, while other party member is always arguing about serious and depressing stuff.

The entire end quest conversation is about Isabella and Zev's sex talk...LOL. no wonder Fen got over written. And she went off with zev, I persume to some place private and make out. I remember thinking, did the game just implied Fenris, Merril and I just wait in the camp for Isabella and Zevran making out? 

Anyway, next time, I'll leave Isabella out of the Crow quest (or maybe I can go and see if I have a save). But her conversation with Zev is really fun.

Yes that's exactly what it implies. Except by Make out, you mean "get their freek on'.

I think you mistook Isabela for Varric there.

The only other thing that I can think of for you is to be sure to let Zevran go. If you force him to come with you so you can turn him in, he won't make the offer for Fenris to reject.

Hehe! Jealous Fenris is fun! Plus, Hawke never asked Zevran to flirt with her. Nope. Hawke is completely innocent :innocent: I also liked the jealosly in DA:O when Isabella made a similar offer. Jealous Morrigan is a classic.

Not sure what the deal is, I flirted with Zev once and let him go. Afterwards, he offered to bed my Hawke and I think Fenris piped in with something like, "that depends, how much do you wish to test that luck of yours?"

I'm not 100% sure, but it sure seemed this way on my playthroughs, that if you sleep with any of the prostitutes at the Blooming Rose (including the 'Why work if you're not working... HARD' guy), your LI won't tell Zevran to back off. Presumably because they've already accepted that you're into that sort of thing

I didn't have Isabela in my party. When Zevran proposed 'getting to know' the Champion better, Fenris told him only if he wanted to test his luck.

Well... I had Fenris as a love interest. He was wearing my red ribbon but I left him at home and brought isabela (who I had had a fling with earlier on) and still got to have a threesome with Zevran. hahah! I was shocked when Fenris spoke up, but it was kinda neat. Replayed though leaving sexy voice at home for the threesome *winks*

Edit: As a side note I did not ever use a broken heart choice with Isabella, so romance may have still been active although she was aware of my relationship with Fenris. So she never became a committed relationship.

I think it's because Isabela jumps the gun and asks for sex before Zevran can proposition Hawke Izzy and Zev will then wander off WITHOUT Hawke unless Hawke is Izzy's LI

At least, neither Fenris or Anders spoke up when Zevran propositioned. And when Isabela was there, she and Zev walked off without my Hawke being able to get a word in!

So I left Izzy at home :X Trying to steal my Antivan Spice, eh? I'll show you...

LOL I was like wth Fenris you are so not keeping me away from Zevran. I had Isabella before Fenris and I used whatever line is the fling line but I kept flirting with her the whole game. That was a really fun playthrough. I gotta do it again! I flirted when ever and with whoever I could. Ah, good times. LOL.

When my Hawke met Zevran she hadn't had sex in three years and Fenris was still dragging his feet. I love Fenris, but at that point he kind of deserved a kick in the pants.

Yeah, but you're not technically "together" anymore. Although I'd one day love to hear why he thinks that wearing your scarf and a hip shield with your crest on it is like breaking up.
