I just found out that, don't know if it belongs here or technical support. Anyway, the Dragon just gets stuck here, it walks, trying to reach Varric but can't. I doubt it's intentional.

By the way this is my first Nightmare playthrought, it's so much fun !

You're misunderstanding the situation. It's all Varric. He can petrify dragons with his gaze, blow flames through his nostrils, pull an ogre's arm off and kill five men with one shot.

you can actually skip the dragon completely by just walking to the exit and triggering the cut-scene
but then of course you miss out on xp and loot, plus your companions will silently mock you with knowing looks saying that they know how much of a coward you are... or maybe that last one is just your imagination...
