getting his own DLC quest pack expanding upon what is probably the
greatest, and deepest, BioWare character to date.

Well, that gave it all away - though I do believe that EA would try selling a Carver quest like that. Just has a better ring to it that the most generic and useless character ever in a bioware game.

Hrrm...I'm sensing a lot of negativity in this thread, even some people calling it a "joke". Come on, this DLC is obviously going to be great, who else here is super excited about finally getting more time to interact with Carver? And I'm really curious about this "tri"sexual character...I really felt like previous companions were missing a sexuality.

The Blood Mage possession thing actually sounded pretty cool. We keep hearing how blood magic makes you more liable to possession, that could be a decent way of implementing it, if there's a decent handwave for how you can control yourself. Also, giving someone a DLC explaining what they did during the time skips sounds pretty cool. Like what Isabela did between vanishing at the end of act 2, and coming back shortly before act 3 starts, or what the siblings did while Grey Wardens.

Maybe Stroud only acts like a d-bag when he's with non-Wardens, and he's a cool guy when dealing with only Wardens?

Since I only play as a warrior or rogue and Carver pulled the Leeroy Jenkins at the beginning of the game, I wasn't sad to see him go. So a whole DLC with just him in it? No thanks. Now Bethany, maybe, yeah. She was interesting.

I found it quite funny as well to see all the people that thought it might be true. It's so blatantly sarcastic, and tongue-in-cheek, that I find it hard to believe anyone taking it seriously.

Also, who says it only has to be April Fools Day to make a joke? Be a pretty sad world if we could only make light and joke one day out of the year.

Rofl, I needed a good laugh today. But seriously, shoulda save it for a few days, 4/1 is close lol.
SOME of the DLC ideas actually sound plausible, ESPECIALLY with EA at the helm lol. Although, I'd love for Carver/Bethany to get their own Spec. tree and some of the DLC be ing able to play as them during their time in the Wardens, and some of that other stuff DOES sound a little interesting.
