Everytime I complete the Repentance Quest in Act 2, he gets locked to my party and won't get unlocked after i complete it. Any suggestions?

Going to a "gather your party" board worked for me. I could remove both Seb and Merrill when they got locked-in.

For some reason, Sebastian stays locked in even at the board. It didn't do this on my first playthrough though.

Going "home" also worked once when the board trick didn't.
