I have around 80 on ME2, and that's plenty enough content for me.

Including every DLC but Pinnacle Station.
You have too huge expectation.

I'm hoping for about 50-60 hours of play. That seems about right.

If ME3 was at least 35-40 hours, I would be happy.

I sincerely hope not, because I don't want a sci-fi Oblivion.

I think on my first ever play thru on ME2 reading most of the codecs, doing all side missions, listening to all dialog, etc took me a little over 50 hours.
I'm expecting the same for ME3.
this and plus additional dlc . so we could possibly get 70 hours the most

Games can go on to long. At a point, they feel like their dragging their feet simply to squeeze in more hours. I've played games that ended after 150 hours and it felt right, and I've also played ones that went the same amount of time and still felt too long. Its the same thing with books, the length, while important, is not indicative of the quality.
When your writing the story, let it end itself instead of dragging it on. I really can't see ME3 being 150 hours and NOT feeling like its dragging its heels.

I raise you an extra 150!
I think this thread had the intention of enraging people but quite frankly I had a good laugh out of this... unless OP is being serious... in which I will laugh even harder.

Assuming we will get various DLC's for ME3 aswell, we can expect about 80 hours total after game reaches it's final DLC.

But what's most important to me is the story of the final game in this trilogy. Sidequests will be useful, but I hope it's not like ME2 where if you didn't do certain side-quests, the squadmate who was attached to it would die. It shouldn't matter if they're loyal or not. Heck, the most recent playthrough I did had a character who didn't do most of the sidequests beyond the loyalty missions and he got to level 30 a few missions from the SM. I didn't even have all the upgrades.
Anyways, 50-60 for regular, non-DLC ME3, and maybe 5-10 extra hours in DLC. If they could do that. More likely the DLC will be roughly 2-4 hours in length for ME3.
