dude, ME was only 25 hours of gameplay, ME2 around 33. I'll be happy with anything at or around the same for ME3 as ME2's.

I am hoping for half of that, or 75 hours. That's taking time to do everything, and in no hurry.

Uhh...Skyrim like any other Elder Scrolls game is a huge world to explore and no story or memorable characters. Why compare these 2 vastly different games?

Skyrim will only be fun with the mods ofcourse. Oblivion was terrible I can't stand it not until I had some decent mods anyways. People complain about DA 2 when Morrowind to Oblivion was a lot worse.

**** no!. I pay to play games I can actually complete in decent time. Game length shouldn't be a goal. Quality should. When length is a focus, you pad your game out with frustratingly redundant garbage, like ME2's upgrade and mineral mining mechanics.

I plan to start playing ME1 about a week before ME3 is due out, imoprt into ME2, and then into ME3 when I finally get my grubby mitts on it.
In fact, I will probably do it 6 times, so I have one of each class, and a good mix of gender, alignment and romance options done to see how they pan out through the game.
Then I'll switch my computer off and go for a real long walk and remind myself what the outside world is like.

How about you play NOT play it under Hardcore and instead on Insanity without skipping cutscenes and dialogues?

ME was around 7 hours of gameplay on Hardcore for me. But that's skipping all sidequests and rushing through dialogue. My best time on ME2, doing all missions including loyalty quests, but no assignments, is still only 23 hours. With all sidquests and playing through cutscenes on normal difficulty, ME is 25-30 hours, and ME2 is around 35-40 hours. This is without taking DLC into account. If you're talking about mission only playthroughs, then thoughs numbers are (relatively) accurate.

Hmm, would say those numbers are a bit high personally. ME campaign was only really 4/5 hours long when your not doing sidequests. Shorter than most FPS/TPS campaigns... lol.

Realistically, 50 hours worth of gameplay for ME3 would be more than enough, and far more than most games out this generation.

While I agree that the finale should be longer than the last two games, 150 hours would be too long. I'd like it to be 50-60 hours (and that includes doing everything).

My first playthrough of ME1 was on Veteran, no DLC, skipped 2-3 side quest accidentally, didn't skipped any dialogue, loot most stuff if not all and it took me around 10-12 hours.

ME1 is about 35-40 hour for me, and ME2 is about 40-45, and that is playing on Veteran usually, can be longer when I do hardcore or Insanity.

If ME3 can be somewhere between 40-50 hours, I will be content.

I really don´t hope less content , infact ME2 play hours is enough .
More important then play hours is for me the story , this ending beter be epic .
And options that you want to play trough ME1 and ME2 for beter alliances solution , would be even more awesome . but 30-40 hours is perfect .
