Sorry if this subject has been broached before.. I didn't feel like digging through god-only-knows-how-many pages to check it..  but if you had a say in what you would've liked to see in DA2, or future DLC content, what would it be?  (I'm just talking content and storyline stuff here, not bugs, combat tweaks, over- or under-powered abilities, etc...)

My list would include (but certainly is not limited to):

~More depth to the companion dialogue and romances (what can I say? I'm a closet romantic)
~More variety to the dungeon/quest areas
~More variety to the gear (and mage gear that doesn't scream "I'M A MAGE!")
~Different endings based on Hawke's choices.. and a feeling of a story "ending" to the end.. (okay, so you killed off Meredith and Orsino, what happens then? Does Cullen take over the Templars? Who takes over for the mages? That kinda stuff.)
~Expand on Sebastian's DLC storyline.. actually help him take back Starkhaven.. allow him an option to be less of a "choir-boy" and a more "real" feeling romance
~Allow Hawke to find a way to help Anders get free from Justice/Vengeance (hey, we did it for Connor in DA:O, right?)

I'm sure there are other things I could put on this list but I'm braindead at the moment... what do you guys want to see?

Playing as a mage should be completely different experience, especially as the Templars are not apostate friendly. i.e.Ser Wesley only directs his comments to Bethany, then assisting the guard when first entering Kirkwall - no one apparently notices that you are a mage and an apostate. Its ridiculous lack of congruence. (Bioware really should have made some adjustments to accommodate this option as it would have significantly enriched playability.)

Once the Viscount is dead it ought to be possible to either
1) become the new Viscount yourself (lots of power struggles, plotting & scheming etc)
2) assist Orsino in becoming the ruler of Kirkwall where mages are free of the Circle & the Chantry
3) assist Knight-Commander Meredith in becoming supreme ruler of Kirkwall

These three options could all lead to the same outcome - A planned Holy war for DA3 with seeker Cassandra questioning Varric. More work for Bioware without doubt, but it would have made a good game great.

I reckon Sebastian's return to Starkhaven will most likely become a download addon at some future stage.

Enjoyed the game but it could have been so much better.

Sebastian's return to Starkhaven a separate addon?  Seems to me that should've part of "The Exiled Prince" to begin with... would be kinda silly if they do a DLC for a DLC...

And I agree completely that it could've been much better!
