That Fenris vid made me giggle. I'll have to do that this playthrough.

So do you lose approval if you initially choose to give him to Danarius and then when he begs you not to you give in and help him? And is the post-Danarius conversation different?

If you were at 100% friendship or rivalry, it's impossible to lose approval. I don't know about the conversation though, because when I kept him, I didn't change my mind, I just supported him (for some reason).

My worst thing that I've done is naming my Hawke Meredith and then finding out halfway through the game that she shares the name with an important NPC!

And ingame I think the worst thing I did was probably wiping out the Dalish clan, and loving Anders and helping him with his plot with no idea what was instore for me...That ****!

Either murder-knifing the bound Qunari delegate (aggressive persuasion option) or letting my hound nom the poor dumb burglar.

Yeah, there's an option whose paraphase I cannot remember that has your dog basically eat the burglar. I was not expecting it. It made me go D:

"I'll give you to the count of 5 to get out of here before i set my hound on you..."
"One...."
"Two...."
"Three four five. Go get him boy."

No, worst thing my Hawke did was recruit Sebastian.. Something about him brought out the worst in me and I went from Jolly Mage to Murderous Loon everytime I had him in my party. I havn't felt compelled to be so evil since i played a Cleric in Neverwinter Nights.

Dwarf Below: Huh, i will have to try that one out on my more aggresive Hawke later. I've only taken the Sarcastic/Lawful options on it so far.

No no, that wasn't the one. There's one where Hawke says s/he can't let the burglar go, otherwise people will think s/he is an easy mark. And then the dog eats the burglar. D:

My Mage Hawke let Anders run away, only for him to follow me to the Gallows...

..to kill me. Should have put him down when he wasn't being a random ******.

so even if you let him go, he still dies? so he dies no matter what (unless u sided with the mages and bring him for the last battle)?

Yeah, it's the aggressive option. I don't know what I was expecting (murder knife perhaps?) but Dog crunching into the shrieking burglar was not it. :pinched: I admit, I laughed...but it was a horrified laugh.

My Hawke is sarcastic but has never been really mean because I can't do it. I intend to make my next playthrough a male Hawke and try and make him a total ass (mainly because I'm trophy collecting and need to go through siding with the templars this time).
I watched a video where you hand Fenris over to his master. I admit, I laughed a lot. It's so heartbreaking I can't help but find it funny. He just takes it with those sad puppy dog eyes.

I guess not killing Anders is a bit bad but I just can't do it, he's got too strong of a hold on me D:

Cracked a joke about her dead mother, who died (again, I suppose) in her arms shortly beforehand.

I mean, come on.

In my current game I just turned Isabela over to the Arishok. I did it for science, just to see how things played out... now I have no desire to finish the game! There's no sunshine in Thedas without Isabela... *weeps* :P

Probably the worst thing I did was kill the whole Dalish clan. I didn't know there was a way NOT to at the time haha but yeah...I don't do that now ;;
And probably going friendship route with Merrill only to 180 and go rivalry against her. Oh and one play through I killed Anders even though I romanced him so that if Sebastian ever becomes available for romance in a DLC or the next game I can pursue it :|

I attempted to play through only picking the direct dialogue choices but damn does it make your character a callous **** :c
I prefer sassy femHawke and her sassy ways~

He acknowledges this: "I know we're not friends, Hawke, but I can't defeat Danarius without you." If you hand him over, Danarius says "I knew a mage would be reasonable."

Well actually, I had him at 100% friendship but when I chose that line just to see what would happen if I chose the 'fine I'll help' option (for the record, Hawke sarcastically says that Danarius might have better loot on him) then Fenris still said "I know we're not friends but..."

If you are friends what SHOULD happen is he should look shocked and super sad and say "WHAT!", then say that plead for your help "Don't do this Hawke, I need you". So heartbreaking. In my opinion, sadface Fenris is so much worse than sadface Merrill.

This is what it should be like in a friendship if you betray him:

It's ridiculously heartbreaking. It is the ONLY thing I cannot bring myself to do in any playthrough.

Maker's Mercy, this cut deep. Heartbreaking moment. And Varric's disdain only added to the pain. (Can't stand to have him angry at my Hawke) Fenris.....:crying::crying::crying:

Julian Hawke was decent and neutral towards mages until his mother was killed by one. Having lost his brother and sister in prior years, he was the last of his family aside from Gamlen and his girl. In that final fight, he bloodthirstily slaughtered mages. Oh, and he had Anders killed; though in the game it was animated as him killing him with a knife, I always imagine it as him telling Sebastian to put an arrow through Anders' head.

Anyone tried what happens if you are in a romance with Fenris and then choose to give him to Danarius?

Oh wow, you can actually give Fenris to Danarius? That's horrible! I assumed if you picked that option he'd just run for it or something.

The worst thing I did was sticking up for Merrill against her clan in Act 3, only to have to kill them all. I since realised that the rivalry placation is better.
