Nice i checked on Yougamers.com to see if my 8800GT will run the game and it said it will at high settings at 1600x900

The x2s came in different speeds.  Yours is the slowest.  It's not ideal, but it should be OK for DA.  Your vidcard is obviously fine for high or better.

Yeah, you'll do fine, though at about medium+.  Unfortunately the 9600m GT isn't that much faster than the 8600m GT.

wooo, thanks for comment. i think it's fine :] to invest just becouse of a game - naah. and if there's nothing wrong with immersion - no problems whatsoever.

With Athlon Sempron 2400+, GeForce 6600, 1GB RAM i can play DAO on low with 10-15 FPS. I am, actually, VERY happy is working on my very OLD PC.

Hard to say.  Perhaps you can do medium details if you use low textures and turn down the resolution?  That VRAM is the real limit.

the 9600 series is as fast as the 8800 640 mb series so it is a lot faster than the 8600 series but i don't know something about the mobile series of both cards

CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4GHz LGA 775 Quad-Core

Video: GeForce 8800GTS 512MB

Ram: 4GB of Corsair dual channel

Windows 7 32 bit

I also have a 24inch monitor so I like to run games in resolutions like 1920x1200



If I can't run the game in med-high settings with this I might opt for the 360 version and just deal with the stupid controller. What do you guys think?
