Hey, I'm still undecided on whether I should get Dragon Age for PC or 360....
Not sure if my Laptop is able to support it very well, mainly because of my processor.
I just want to get some opinions on what someone would prefer if in my position.
Here are my Laptop Specs:
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650
AMD Turion X2 Ultra Dual-Core Mobile ZM-82 2.20Ghz
4.00 GB DDR2
Vista 64-bit - transferring to Windows 7 very soon
I've only own this laptop for a couple months. Only game I've really played that was demanding was Champions Online which I could play on highest settings with shadows off.
Anyone know if will be able to play this on medium setting at least? or if I would be better of just getting it for xbox 360.
Your CPU, your video card, and the Dragon Age specifications

Are you kidding? You should run it at the highest settings even at 19*12. Don't even think about the Xbox.

Did my post not go through? Hm.
Anyway, the 8800 GTS 512mb should run the game near maximum even at 19*12. Don't even consider the console -- you're at recommended specs, you know.

Wondering if I can run this:
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3500+ ~2.2GHz
2 Gig Ram
GeForce 7600 GT
Windows XP
Just wondering if anyone has any idea what I'm looking at? Should I get it for 360 instead? Thanks again!

Does anyone knoe if this game is optimized for SLI? I have 2 8800 GT's and am hoping to run on max settings. I also have 4 gb RAM and a quad core.

I would sooner pay the $80 for a second 8800 then play an 80+ hour rpg on 360.

Wow sorry about the quadruple post, these forums take awhile to show you've posted O.o
Thanks flem, I was leaning for my PC as well but you can never be sure (Oblivion chunked along in some spots)

Swwwweeeeet!!! My PC's going to ROCK this game outta the world!!!
Evga 9800GTX+, Core2Duo 3GHz, 2.25GB Ram, 300GB HD Sata 2.0, Widescreen LCD 21inch HDMI!! In other words, I'll be rocking at the ultra high graphics setting!!
Aside from a little gaming, my system's mostly for graphic design with Adobe CS4...and gaming ;-D

I'm just wondering whether I'll be able to run it on max settings (as far as XP lets me, anyway - no DX10...) or whether some things will need to be toned down.
CPU: Core2Duo E8500 3.16ghz
RAM: 4gb DDR2
GPU - Nvidia 9800GTX (single card)
OS: WinXP 32-bit
I chose the Core2Duo as I don't know many games utilising four cores, so a faster set of two cores will suffice until an upgrade becomes a requirement.

Will my system work?
I've got a 386, 4-Megs RAM, 32MB HDD and VGA graphics... oh yeah and a sound blaster 16.
The framerates with Wing Commander 1 are truly spectacular on this system so I am guessing it should handle DO:A just fine..

I am unfortunately stuck with my laptop's graphics card; updating such a thing on a laptop is pretty hard right? At least, that's what my Google research says.
I'm probably going to have to run it pretty low with what I've got.
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 @ 2.20GHz
Graphics: GeForce 9500m GS 512MB
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows Vista 64-bit (*sigh*)
Next rig I buy will be a top of the line gaming unit, but that will probably be at least a year or two from now.

Hi dont have the game yet but was wondering. I see the list doesnt have ATI Cards in it.
My system is AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0Ghz,Radeon HD 4870 w/1gig GDDR5 Ram,Vista 64 Premium,4 gig of G.SKILL PI Black DDR2 800 SDRAM. 22inch HDMI LCD Monitor at 1680x1050 60Hz.
Will i be able to run the game at Max settings? I know i can run Crysis at Max settings,i was very suprised i could cause of the people saying you will need 2 or 4 cards in Crossfire or SLI at max settings.

I think you should be good to go, I'd avoid the console versions, PC is where DA is in its prime form!
