The Arishok was the only boss I liked and had fun fighting against. Fighting someone who needed to use potions and has attacks you could dodge was a welcome change from giant monsters with massive amounts of HP and defence.
Also to all the people who complain about the Arishok using potions to heal himself would you have preferred the Arishok to have had much higher HP so he didn't need to use potions? Also did you use potions?
How many potions does the Arishok have?

I must agree. I felt far less guilty about using items because he did too. Fair is Fair. I always felt like cheating if I used items when dueling Loghain in the previous game.

I wondered about this fight myself. The first few times I fought him the potions he used made it impossible for me. Then I tried one more time and he didn't seem to use as many. Maybe I just didn't count right but I kept expecting him to use potions and ruin my small chances but he never did and i eventually whittled him down to zero health. My first guess was that maybe he has unlimited potions but he has to share that ability with his impale move? So since he kept impaling me he didn't have any points left for potions.

You have a chance of fairly kill this guy only if you can use magic (like in trailer) elseway will be a fight where you keep turning around columns slapping him now from there now from here beside it until he fall down hahaha... it made me remember about a film where Jet Lee had to kill 2 kick boxers, and he couldn't face them normally, so he had to find a closer space.. even Jet Lee sometimes has to use shrewdness...
