that F*****R has lived for way too long, its time for him to take a break.....the permenant kind.

Indeed, the cerberus plot armor is getting rediculous. Anyone here read Retribution?

I did read Retribution.  Even after reading that book I still find it hard to completely hate the Illusive Man.  Yes his methods are sick, but his reasons for doing what he does always have a some sort of logic that makes sense.

with the exception of wanting to stop the reapers, his reasons are just as bad as his methods.

Who should die in ME3... I'd say the Reapers. Yeah that'd be good. :)

Shepard dying for humanity is a cliche. Of course Shepard killing everything and living happily ever after is a cliche, too.

I want CulturalGeekGirl in this thread.

I 2nd this.

Drama and sadness and depth are overrated. I enjoy an ending where I, y'know, WIN.

Don't get me wrong, 'bittersweet' has it's place... But not for me, not at the end of a trilogy where I've kept my guy alive through hell and back. Games like this, I want the ending to be epic and have a feeling of "F*CK YEAH", not a feeling of "Aw, F*CK!".

See the difference?

[/quote]

HAHA lol

nononono you got me wrong I mean if the Turian guy dies who would give a rat's buttox, even his family would probably have a celebration.

Ohhhhhhhh...

Okay, yeah, good point.

While there likely be grim moments and some deaths, I would be shocked if they went and killed a lot of characters and Shepard. It's just not that kind of series. You just can't have 2 parts heroic space saga and then finish it off with Dead Space. Bioware writers would be truly awful if they tried something like that.

I'd like to see massively branching endings. One where everyone lives and one where everyone dies, and everything in between.

The Illusive Man should die for letting his son become a universal laughing stock. Seriously, get that man some help!

I haven't read Retribution but I do agree with this. The Illusive Man is willing to go whatever distance required to do what's best for humanity, even if that puts the other races at a disadvantage.

I never said they werent I just said his point of view does make some sense and he is indeed my favorite kind of villian in that he thinks he is the real good guy.

Wrex goes into a blood rage and destroys a horde of collectors at the end. But in the end, they overwhelm him as Shepard tries to save him.

That would make me cry. :(

Not Shepard. After ME1's "Oh no Shep's dea....oh wait Shep's ok" ending. And ME2 killing and ressurecting Shep right at the beginning, as well as at the end. I think any Shepard death in ME3 would just have no impact anymore.

Tali should die. Her luck must run out at some point. TIM should live and become eternal ruler of all mankind, after which his countless bastard children will battle for his throne.

Exactly. Mass Effect 3 will not be Neverwinter Nights 2.

I'm really really hoping for multiple endings in ME3. That way people like you can have your tragic hero ending, and people like me can have our victorious hero ending, and even the people who want to see the Reapers win can have that ending (kinda like the non-canon "Shepard Dies on the Suicide Mission" ending.) 'Cause I've said this before, I want Shepard to live. I like my happy endings, and those kind of tragic 'self-sacrifice' endings just annoy me these days.

As for who SHOULD die...

The Turian Councilor.

That is all.

This.

Whatever happened to the days where everyone lived "happily" ever after?

Why do we HAVE to have someone die?

If you want to know who I think SHOULD die (in order):

1) The Reapers
2) Whoever works for them
3) The Illusive Man
4) Udina

Agreed, and I'd add that the Turian councilor needs a boot to the head.

Everyone should live (I love happy endings!) but that's pretty much impossible, what with an entire fleet of reapers attacking our pretty homeplanet. Shepard dieing would also be way too cliche, so for once let's just let the hero survive okay?

People who should die:
-Turian councillor (preferably death by reaper)
-Udina (preferably biotically punched out the window on the top floor of the citadel tower)
-Jack (if she isn't already by the end of ME2)
-The reapers (obviously)

Then Shepard should destroy Reapers and then die by some kind of new virus?
Is that a cliche? B)

Anyway this is hard for me, but i think that Mordin won´t live too much long, Thane is slowly dieing and maybe Hackett or Anderson in some awesome sequence, but this is just my bet.
