It would be an interesting ending....that certainly should be the worst outcome ending, if we are given options on how it will end.

Yeah, I'm not too big on a Shep replacement either. If Shepard does die at the end of ME3, at there is no option to change that outcome, not only will it hurt DLC sales but I bet there will be a lot more negativity towards Bioware. Sure, it should be on of the bad endings, but it should be one of many. For instance, some endings should be - Everyone dies, Shepard included; Everyone dies except for Shepard; A lot of people die, including Shepard; Everyone lives except for Shepard....I think you get the idea.

It would be a new side of Shepard, that's for sure. You don't usually see him/her break down like the guy in the video. 

Now that I'm thinking about it...you don't really see Shep in that kind of mental state at all...

Shepard can't and will not die if he has already been through that. bad writing frowns in repetitive plot points. And no one can live up to his badassness. Shepard is the Chuck Norris of the 22nd century.

I 100% disagree with this and I fail to see how it makes a game better.  Playing a game is about YOU being able to control what happens.  Real life is where you cant control what happenes.  In ME2 your actions and your actions alone controls who lives and who dies.  That made it a better game and I appluad Bioware for doing in in ME2.  There was nothing more satisfactory than seeing all your squadmates on the ship after the suicide mission.  ME3 should allow for that kind of satisfaction, but I have no qualms about making it very tough to do so OR as I said in a previous post where you can choose one or the other OR attempt to save them both but have BOTH die if you fail. 

Purely speculative and subjective. Just because you think there was nothing more satisfactory than seeing your whole team survive doesn't mean we all see it that way. ME3 is the final act; out of all the moments to lose squadmates, this would be it to really emphasise what's at stake at the very end of the reaper chapter.

We can tell ourselves its just a game all we want, but Bioware is aiming for more than that; making us decide on those tough choices we don't know the outcome to. The easy option; save everyone (or in the video example, convince the heretics without brainwashing) will get chosen every single time if it's available as an option because we're either wired that way or we don't want to miss out on additional scenes with them later on.

I think they should pull a harry potter and have a lot of well loved characters die. If they don't do that then the game will never feel dangerous.

Shepard dying would make me sad for real. He deserves a place in a forest and a neat house with his LI. Or at the very least diplomatic immunity so he can kick the Dismiss Turian square in the nuts without any legal action taken.

As for the rest: the ones I dont like can die. The ones I like shouldnt (cept for Grunt and Wrex. They seem to want to go out in a blaze of glory and it would be a death with too much badassery to handle)
