I applaud Bioware for mking such a polarizing game. Some absolutely love it and some dream about it being set aflame. Clearly they did something right for it to garner so much attention. I for one have found it to literally be the game i have most enjoyed ever!!! So i want DA3 to be more like DA2. And just to counter the hate and 0/10 reviews ill preorder the collecters edition of the sequel and purchase all dlc/expansions available for this game. Just to ****** of those entitled ****s who are demanding an apology becaue they view their opinion as law.

Welp I've read 10 pages and I have to add my 2 cents. I for one like the way they have taken this. I like how the combat works, I like the action, I like the flow of combat. I remember back when I was a tiny little thing on the screen (16 bit) I could barley make out. Now I'm a flowing vivid character kicking AZZ! Yes, the game is a bit weak in stages, but it has for me gone in the right direction. It gives me MMo style in an rpg, without the need for super computer tech to run it. Remove the pause ability...(cause I still use it even when i don't wanna...cause it's there ! ) to keep things flowing. I like going to the store and looking at new things to outfit myself with...it gives me a choice on style...that old rag looks better than this new super robe...I'm keeping the old rag. Hmm those daggers looks great I want a pair ! etc etc. For me the Rpg isn't about fly through the game in a night get to the end and move on back to whatever game I owned before. I build play and enjoy my Character. If I can't alter his gear or his looks...It's not an RPG. I don't want cookie cutter, I don't want slack , I want puzzles I want eye candy I want these nice smooth fighting scenes. I want to be a hero, kick AZZ like a hero and look good doing it ! I want to take my time and enjoy my games. This is why I play them. My 2 cents. (1.5 thumbs up)

I'm planning to pre-order DA3 if it doesn't follow the same path as DA2, and if it's not released next year.
Please, take your sweet time with this one, Bioware.
And also...purchasing content just to ****** off the haters makes no sense. Why should they care about you buying some content for DA2?
I agree with your first point. DA2 is an incredibly polarizing game. Clearly they did a lot of things wrong to garner so much attention.

How interesting... someone complaining about others complaining... What's even more interesting is that you have no other Bioware game registered. Are you from Bioware's new target audience? Judging by your anger in your post, in addition to the lack of prequel game registrations, I'm inclined to believe you are. So..... What prestige are you? 30th?

I hope they make an expansion to provide a "recovery" for DA2. For the 3rd part, they really need to take their time listen to constructive feedback from the community. Both positive and negative because I am sure Dragon Age 2 has both.

 I have more games registraded on me and I to want DA 3 to be more like DA 2 than DA:O. I loved DA:O, but I think DA 2 is better. Yes is not flawless and some things are boring *Cough* recycled areas *Cough*, but I'm on my 7 playthroe and still find things I've missed or hear things I didn't before due to the different in the wheel and friendship/rivaly. I like that my eneimes coming down the roof, just a little of when they do that in the caves. Where the heck are they jumping from there? Can't we just agree on that some of us liked the game and some didn't? I don't like to be called a puppet, Bioware follower or braindead from those who hated it, just because I have a different opinion. Right now I'm playing DA 2 until I have to refresh my Witcher skills for number 2^^. And I'm waiting patiently  for ME3 =D. Can't wait for my Sheppard to come back and kick some a**es.

Edit*Some spelling I saw. Don't kill me. I'm not englishspeaking=)

EA and Bioware don't need to apologize for anything. If they don't stand up for their product, who will? If anything, apologizing would hurt them because it strengthens criticisms and hurts future sales. The biggest complainers will say, "See. Even the company admits this was bad. I want my money back." And people who are waiting to buy the game might decide against purchase because an apology means that even the people who made the game aren't proud of it.

You can rage about the game all you want, but demanding an apology when one isn't warranted is a waste of time.

I accept that. Your joke was flawed, but you shouldn't be bashing a game people
happen to enjoy. Set your criticism and be professional about it. But do not bash the game
and saying it awful, horrible, or something negative without any reason.
I understand you may dislike the game, but just know there are people who does enjoy the game
and will point out the good ratings and defend the game they enjoy.

That's all I'm doing and will continue doing so.
However, I will not stoop to your level and continue this coversation with you.
If you can't accept it, oh well. But I will not be replying to anything else you have to say.

Looks like you enjoy cliche stories that every RPG has, too hard for you to acknowledge a different story? I find your lack of imagination disturbing. If saving the world is the only story you understand that is, no offence intended.

There is no story in DA2. Its lots of mini quests put together to create something that fail to be a story. Hell even then there are so many newbie mistakes, plot holes, story problems that one gets sad thinking that someone might be proud of this work.

Seriously BioWare please continue the direction you are going with Dragon Age 2 it has so much potential.  I have said it before and will say it again... YOU DO NOT WANT THESE KIND OF FANS!  They are useless and just live to complain!  That´s it! That is all they are good for and they aren´t even good at it!  Hell a guy like the one who posted this thread could die tomorrow and I doubt anyone would shed a tear.  Hell his own Momma would be happy because she could finally get her basement back.

It is also because you do not understand the story, or you just don't like a story where the main quest is not to save the world. Look back at the beginning and the ending of Varrics tale, perhaps you will understand it this time. Apology or no apology people are already hesitant to purchase DA3 after this debacle. And ME3. And The Old Republic. Bioware/EA did this to themselves. If you release shoddy work people will notice and become wary of your future offerings.

You are a human worthy of a thousand facepalms. I'd suggest reading some self-help books and working on your many obvious character flaws.

You know, this is something I just love about people who likes the game..."Don't like it? Don't come on here", and why can't I comment about it? 
It's this the private club of people who loved it? I pre-ordered and paid the full price for my Signature Edition, already registered, by the way...so I have as much right as you to post here.
And I can certainly criticize a product which I didn't like.
I have a lot of reasons...but I don't see the point in repeating 'em over and over and over again...if you want to know them (probably not) then we can have a conversation, I opened a topic about some thoughts on the story...and believe it or not, some people agree with me. And no, they're not trolls and haters.
There are people who love the game? Good for them. I have no problem about that, a person's trash is a treasure for someone else, right?
Oh...and which ratings? The 100/100 from the Escapist? Come on now...
Anyway, I doubt that you'll answer to my post, I don't really care. I'm not expecting to begin a war or something.

If it's the game you've "enjoyed the most ever" you clearly have not lived long enough to form an educated opinion.

I'll be honest, I just expected another troll.
But I see that you want a quite serious conversation about it.
I never said that criticism is not needed, I just really dislike it when people bash the game
just to ****** people off. It bothers fans like myself and we like to show the creators that there 
are still fans like myself who loves the game. Which I do, I really enjoyed Hawke and the storyline.

I see you want an actual conversation about it and want to show your point of view.
I respect that and I wouldn't mind to see your ideas and actually have a discussing about it.
