I started in generation one, but wasn't really a Bioware fan until generation 3.
So which generation of Bioware fans do you belong to?

Baldur's Gate, 1998. Oddly enough, bought it 2 weeks after release day already... didn't even realize it until 2008.

This would be a perfect description of me, as well.
Didn't skip Gen 2 because of any percieved lack of quality but more because those Game's subject matter didn't really appeal to me.
Me too. Jade Empire is Asian themed, right? That may be why I decided against it, not my cup of tea. And Knights of the Old Republic is Star Wars, so that's a no for me.
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 -> Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2 -> Mass Effect -> Dragon Age: Origins -> Mass Effect 2
Generation 1!

Generation 1 - Baldur's Gate, MDK or Neverwinter Nights
MDK was developed by Shiny Entertainment, BioWare made MDK2.

Generation 2, but I really started caring in Gen 3. KoTOR was just an awesome game to me until I played Mass Effect.

Would have been Gen 1 with Neverwinter Nights, but couldn't buy a good enough pc to run it back then, so it started Gen 2 with Knights of the Old Republic on the X-Box.

Gen 1, but stopped after KotOR - came back shortly after DA:O, and filled the gap since then.

Generation 1. I wasn't really a fan up until I finished Mass effect.

Okay, thanks. I'm a generation 3, I never cared about Bioware until I played Mass Effect in 2010.

I was gonna say Gen. 2 because KotOR is always the first game that comes to mind, but I just realized that I played NWN soon after it was first released. I became a Bioware fan with KotOR though, so I don't know..

Pretty much exactly the same. Did try KotOR a year or so back, and hated every moment of it.
