She was possibly the most annoying character in the game in my opinion.

When Carver/Bethany died she blames you no matter what you say.
Then when you move to Kirkwall she is always whining about how she's not nobility. The "Wahh, Wahh why does no one in Kirkwall like me?! My life is ruined!" (Paraphrased of course Posted Image) might be a natural reaction to when she barely finds out, but after a year +, you can tell she's just a natural born spoiled whiner.

And then theres when you finally get the estate back, it seemed that she becomes snooty and acts like she did that all by herself.

I could go on and on, but I just need to feel that I'm not the only one that finds her terribly annoying.

Well, she was in denial about the fact that one of her children was dead.  It's not fair to expect her to be in her right mind.

She does apologize for that if you bring it up later. (comedy mask response, I believe)

Ahh I suppose that would make sense. Did not know she apologized later however.. need to find that response.

I still don't like her though, especially for the Gamlen VS Leandra conversation about the will.

Wait, I thought she only blames you if you chose the sarcastic/aggressive options? Anyway, you can't honestly expect her to keep her composure when a 20ft tall boulder throwing ogre dragged her son/daughter around like a ragdoll and impaled them to death.

When you arrive to Kirkwall, she practically b****ed at Gamlen because he was suggesting that her children be subject to indentured servitude. She had every right to react that way.

As for the estate, it's understandable why. Gamlen gambled all their fortunes away when she expected a home for her and her children to live in. Later, when you take back the estate, she tells you how proud she is of you and expresses a desire to remarry so that you can have some privacy for yourself. Doesn't sound like a selfish person to me. If anything, she's only trying to protect her family.

I hate to say it, but after getting to Kirkwall she sort of had the life drained out of her (pun!) because she had so little to say. When she does talk it's to complain. So when you get that feeling of "Oh god! I have to save mom!" it only lasts until she gets up like the the corpse bride and then... well I was laughing. "Blame ME for Carver dying, huh?! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!"

I'm a bad person.

Yeah I hated Leandra, in fact now that I think about it she is my least favourite character,, She sounds exactly like my Wardens mother so I didn't like hearing her speak, She blamed me for my siblings death, She insisted we go to Templar filled Kirkwall so she could get her stupid nobility back. Has a go at Gamlen for getting me into the mercenaries when its her damn fault since we could have just left for another city but nooooo We "Cant put mother through that" She didn't have anything to say about it.

Carver was right though, Its bs she all of a sudden cared so much about getting that damn family fortune back and "Look at how great we used to be",, and the whole having her family wrapped around her little finger, and receiving all the will even after she ran away and didn't even attend her parents funeral.. I mean she had a husband to look after the kids, she could have gone.

She's your mother - she's supposed to be annoying or it wouldn't be true.

Just send Dad out to the store for some formula. It's not like she doesn't have alternatives to breastfeeding. Oh, wait...

Carver mentions the blaming and talks about it being a symptom of feeling scared and helpless. I just don't understand why she has to keep complaining about elves. Seriously, get over it already Mom!

Get Oranna and she'll complain about that instead.

Leandra: "An elven slave? I hope you know what you're doing."

Me: "Uh. She's not a slave. I'm paying her. She's better off here than dying in an alley."

Leandra: "An elven slave? I hope you.."

Me: "Yeah yeah! Never mind.."

She seemed like a nice enough woman and a caring enough mother, but the thing that bothered me was how obsessed she and Hawke were with their precious vanity. I really didn't care that my character wasn't noble.

She's angry at you (for your sibling's death) no matter what option you pick.

That struck me more as "Here's hoping that her old master comes kicking down our door" than "you are keeping a slave?" or "I hate elves."

Still she's complaining about an elf. I hope she's upset that Oranna used to be a slave, but she's still hung up on the elf part too.

Somewhat unlikely given her old master suffered death by Fenris' fist o' magic shortly after she was freed.

She seemed pretty supportive of my character's lesbian relationship with Merrill.

For some reason, the only one that comments on my characters' relationships in house is Bodahn. Leandra just keeps saying my elf friends are rather strange when she's not repeating herself about Oranna.

I wish she'd comment on the LI in my game.

I disagree with your reasons for disliking her, but to me she was just boring and cliche. I couldn't find myself caring one way or the other about her. Her dying was honestly the most interesting thing about her, and even that was just more weird to me than shocking.
