I hope there is a way. Even though I spared him, I think Alastair should be angry, but no leave my party and the final battle just because of it. He's about to be the KING of Ferelden! And he just leaves because he's angry?
I am talking about the final battle ofcourse. Though I am all up for Female leaders, I just prefer Alastair's speech to Anora. Hell I just think Anora stands there whilst they all charge and goes "hehe...suckers" when they leave. So is there anyway to keep him in my party, or atleast make him do the final speech? He is hardened btw.
How to keep hardened Alastair in party when sparing Logahin.

No, there is no way to have Alistair in the party or fighting alongside you in the final battle if you spare Loghain.
The best you can get is marry him to Anora while sparing Loghain (must be hardened for him to accept this particular deal). Then you'll see him in the post-coronation scene, but he won't take part in the final battle.

Not gonna happen. If you set up the marriage with Anora beforehand and confirm it at the LM, he'll stay to be king, but leaves your party regardless if Loghain is spared.

Alistair is a big baby when it comes to Loghain. Yes Loghain is a vile person who has a beheading coming to him, but he can be useful.
Alistair also has a dream image of what the Grey Wardens are. They accept anybody with the skill to fight Darkspawn. Past crimes mean nothing. Duncan would have done the same as Riordan with Loghain.
- Making Loghain live the rest of his life as a Grey Warden is ironic and funny.
- What better way for Loghain to atone for destroying the Ferelden chapter of the Grey Wardens than by helping to rebuild them and then being assigned to Orlais. Which is also ironic and funny.
- If you hate him that much you can still send him to his death against the Archdemon.
Sparing Loghain is actually a logically sound decision. But if you want to keep Alistair you gotta chop his head off. And if you wanna avoid the choice altogether just let Alistair duel him. he wont wait to lop his head off.

Or, if you're on the PC, you can type "runscript zz_addparty Alistair".
