Yvonne is kind of B-list, Lance Henrickson hasn't been in a decent movie...in forever.

Yeah...Martin Sheen was not the only big one. You've got Adam Baldwin, Carrie Ann Moss, Claudia Black, Seth Green, Keith David, Tricia Helfer, Michael Hogan...

And playing ME2 was like eating a bucket of pop corn. For the second time.

(Whispers)...I miss it, too. The retro music was phenomenal. Playing Mass Effect was like playing video games for the first time.

That is exactly the sort of reply I was hoping for *Hands out cookie*

You miss it?  Did something happen to your copy of Mass Effect 1?  If not, then stop pining and play it!  ;)

Seriously though, I don't really miss anything that you listed, and those last two I don't even agree with, let alone miss.  I do miss a few things, but far fewer than the number of things from ME2 that I would miss if I replayed ME1 for the umpteenth time.

Honestly...ME2 was a great game...but for ME3 all I want is more character interaction and larger non-mission environments, such as the Citadel presidium and the various wards. Mix those two with what they had in Mass Effect 2 and then it would be great.

Thank God, they were as bad as the Lord of the Rings. Both made no sense and explained as little as possible. Why didn't the morons take the flying bird all the way to the damn volcano? Stupid dwarfs 'n' wizards.

While Jennifer Hale did a great job as Femshep, she's not necessarily a "big" actress outside of voice acting.

There are other types of actors? I don't pay much attention to non-voice actors, the only two names out of the ones listed I actually know are Martin Sheen and Seth Green. Now tell me Jim Cummings, Jennifer Hale, or Tim Curry are in something and you'll get my attention. :P

Get over it, ME2 is the crowning jewel of shooters/RPGs..... until ME3 arrives anyway.

EDIT: No point in a discussion. ME3 is finished, has been in development since Dec. 2009, devs have stated that some have made complete playthroughs of the game.

ME3 isn't "finished" otherwise it would be out right now.

At this stage I would say most of the level and story design is finished. Some of the Devs have probably done very early playthrus of the game with just text and basic environments/character models. However they have yet to add proper audio for the characters, they are probably still working on the soundtrack, probably still working on the HUD, probably tweaking abilities and powers for characters. They also have to do lots of testing to make sure there are no major glitches and that means doing everything they can possibly think of and fixing it if possible. Game probably won't be truly finished til like October.

There's a reason we ain't seen gameplay yet. That's because it's not polished enough to show off to the public. However by June and E3, it will be.

Anyways I hear you OP, but this a topic that has likely been brought up 1000 times by now. Really I think making suggestions and pleas at this point is probably a bit late, though yes there is still some time. I think Bioware has listened and we'll likely see some kind of inventory again since many reviews noted a lack of it. Although I wouldn't expect ME1's inventory back, and frankly I wouldn't want it. I'd say there's a good chance you'll get a more complete "armory"  in that not only can you choose weapons, but modify them (add attachments) and such as well. You'll also likely have armor suits to choose between or at least modifications for other characters as well. That's what I would try to do with ME3 going from ME2 anyways.

I think we'll see some throwback to Mako/UNC Missions, although I would only expect a few. Overlord got very good reception so I think there'll be some big level vehicle exploration missions (even though the Hammerhead is kind of "meh"). Considering that a good part of ME3 likely involves battling the Reapers I'd expect some vehicle combat. I think ME3 will have a combination of both the quick side missions of ME2, along with some larger more exploratory based ME1 missions.

I would like to see some actual squad banter, as that what usually makes Bioware's games really shine. It just gives you the feeling that the characters are actually real. This is why the Baldur's Gate games were so great. Half the fun was seeing what conversations/arguements would break out between party members during the game. ME2 relied a bit too much on scripted mission comments, and in the end all the characters when they aren't on the Normandy/Cutscene seem like robots.

And as for level design, they've made note of the linear feel of levels. There was some video about "Arrival" where one of the Devs was explaining how they had added a lot more environment elements to make the levels less linear. I think it's safe to say that'll we'll see more sophiscated/branching levels in Mass Effect 3.

It seems like half the purpose of these DLCs is to see how the playerbase reacts to new stuff they might be planning for ME3.

D.C. Douglas for example. He voices Legion, but is also the voice of Wesker in every RE game to date. Betcha almost nobody here knew that.

Im sorry, you lost me there. I was prepared to read your text skycraper, but with this opening statement it is obvious you have no idea how development process works.
