Anyways, did anyone find the Armistice skill fairly useless? It seems no matter when or where I use it, the agro is not dropped from my targeted character. I got a fed up using it after seeing Varic shuffling for his life with a few bandits chasing him even after I dumped the skill straight on top of him and his assailaints.

Whatever enemies you are trying to de-aggro using Armistice or Goad has to fall within the aoe of the ability. Archers at range that are trained on you or your companions will continue to shoot you since they weren't inside the circle.
I know that much, I am more annoyed over the few sword wielding bastards chasing my intended Armistice target who are in the AoE effect still chasing him/her like they have lyrium strapped to their ****s.

Heard that Armistice and Goad is glitched on the consoles. I can confirm this as I also used then to no real effects

The strange thing is that even in Origins, my archer companions always seemed to be the primary target of enemies, rather than the heavily armored, taunting tank. Not much different in DA2.

Whether or not it's a good investment of a talent, though, is up for debate.

That's actually because they're doing heavier damage.

Not a major issue, though I always wondered why the archers would come under fire and not the mage or perhaps a dual wield rogue. It seemed as if they had a big sign over their head saying, "I'm fragile! Kill me first!"

Many times in Origins or DA2, my archers would come under fire, even before they have a chance to do damage. That's why I usually had Leliana keep defensive fire up, and Nathaniel use similar rogue talents. They weren't using Arrow of Slaying/Critical Shot/Accuracy.

My guess would be that your archers usually fired the first shot, while your melee memebers would still be walking towards enemies. And bows do heavier damage than staffs, so in that kind of situation it's only natural that enemy would assume the archers to be the biggest threat on the battlefield.
