How much is there to origins? How much is there to awakenings?

To be more specific i'm on the quests to gain the help of the elves, dwaves and mages to fight the blight and am wondering once I get all 3 forces is game pretty much over or is that just to start with in Origins? So far i'm liking it with how long going through mage tower stuff took and how much i've had to do in the dwarf town but given how much you have to do just to gain thier armys and knowing how other games do it i'm expecting to get to the end of these 3 quest chains and have a crappy little war that takes all of 5 minutes then have it be game over. Hope not :(

And after answering about Origins can you please let me know is Awakenings very short and crappy like alot of expansions and sequals games tend to get?

I got the Ultimate Edition so I think I got every DLC for the game too but i'm not sure.

I have dragon Age 2 and just now am finally playing the originals to get a save file for 2 as well as to learn the story.

The game is split into about three main parts. Securing your allies is the second section, and easily the biggest chunk of the game, of which the Dwarven mission is the longest. But once you have completed that, there is still a reasonable way to go. In all I was very impressed with the length of the game. It helps it to feel very epic, and it easily longer than DA2.
Awakenings did feel rather short by comparison - about 15 hours in length. It's a bit on the buggy side, and considerably easier than Origins, but apart from that there are a fair few points to recommend it. Worth a playthrough.
