Okay, so everything has been working fine so far, I get the quest "A New Path" then go deal with the demon and the Dalish, then something weird happens.

The quest is moved to the "completed folder", but the text remains
"Go with Merri to the demon cave on sundermount" That's it, she has nothing to say on the matter other than her default my house is such a mess dialogue, I'm feeling a little irritated and cheated, does anybody have this problem and know how to fix? Do Bioware plan to get their kiesters in gear and fix this?

hm yeah it seems a common bug, the mourning dialogue thats to come after it gets triggered early in act3 thats why nothing comes after the quest.

Can I continue after it and still complete the romace/get any of the other dialogue?

I think so, I could complete the romance and the quest but I don't know if there is to be more.

This is the EXACT problem I've got. Stopped paying once I encountered this, and tried to find a way around it although I wasnt able to. Waiting for a patch or something to fix this...

I'm also waiting for a patch, and I hope that since this one is so common and completely ruins a major quest that it will be fixed soon. I also had to just stop playing when I ran into this because it just destroyed my interest in playing.

I attempted to access the console to use the workaround, but I must be doing something wrong because it wouldn't work. Plus, what I've read about it makes it sound like the workaround lets you play the quest, but it's actually still bugged in terms of dialogue.
