I modified some things with the toolset and undid it. The first change involved checking out a file (item_constants_h) , exporting, and checking in which I found out was wrong. I checked it back out and in after restoring default values.
Second, I changed another file (item_singletarget.ncs). My changes worked as intended when I opened the game but I noticed my characters' command status windows were missing (the one that says if they are moving, attacking, using a certain ability, etc.).
Did I break something using the toolset and if so, is there a restore default command or other fix? Or did I press some combo of keys to turn off that window and it's a coincidence?

Not sure what else to call it...
It's to the right of each character portrait.
It's to the right of each character portrait.

My guess is you've been hit by the current glitch of the toolset. It has the bad habit of breaking things in the OC by unnecessarily exporting stuff in the core override folder(s). You should find some posts and solutions about this on the forum. If that's the cause of your issue, I believe emptying the relevant folder (My Docs/etc/packages/core/override) solves the problem.
