Could you change a tiny thing before release?

You should know people will remove these intro movies on their own because quite frankly it pisses people off they have to see that logo.
I cant see why EA needs to be plastered up in the beginning just because they supply the money.

However, the EA logo at the start is obligated. Even if they were allowed to remove it, the game has gone gold ages ago, wich means they have been pressing dvd's for a while now.

Edit: That is, their IP lawyers would not allow them to do it under any circumstances. Well, or would advise them not to under any circumstances.

I shudder to think should they implement this

Did you really just say that or was that sarcasm because if you mean that then that is one of the dumber things I have ever read on a forum. You do know that is how the world works right? You pay money so you get what you want. I'm pretty sure that is a direct quote from one of my econ books. (Just kidding)

Okay game producers and distributors should start realising that nobody wants to see them. And if anyone hasnt noticed it is standard protocol to run the logos without interuption the very first time you start the game. Just saying its like going to the movies and being forced to watch commercials kinda ticks me off.
Those are usually Bik videos that run before the actual game menu pops up so you could modify the name of the file and it should skip it.

It isn't about what we want to see, it's about displaying the company's trademark.

No one is forcing you to do anything, you can always close your eyes.

X:\\Program Files\\Dragon Age Origins Character Creator\\packages\\core\\data\\movies
where x is the drive you installed your game.
From there you are going to see this file: dragon_age_main.bik change the file name to what you want. Then reload the character creator application and you should notice it didn't show.

EA relies on companies like Bioware, not the other way around. And credit needs to be given where it is deserved. Bioware means a lot more to Dragon Age than EA ever will.
This is just yet another attempt for EA to try and take credit for others their work. They seem to do it with all games they publish and need to learn their place as a publisher.

so you are saying you view at as a commercial from the company, should we not be compensated in some way then instead of actually paying to watch it ?

Bioware's name needs to come first. Its not like Bioware needs EA that badly, they can get any publisher.
EA owns Bioware.

Every publisher in the world takes and displays credit for supplying money. This is how it works. Publishers are an essential part of making entertainment and without them nothing would get funding. Deal with it. Or hack it, if that pleases you.
