Hello, with DA2 out and Hawke being related to the Amell in origins, I decided to go back to the original game with a new character so that the hero of Fereldan would be related to Hawke on my import. I've made it through most of the army gathering quests as well as warden's peak and return to ostagar. I'm now suddenly having a problem getting to the deep roads.

I had gone into aiducan thaig just fine but when I went to caridan's cross, the game dumped me to the main menu and stated it could not load the area.

I even went back to an older save, fought my way through the carta again so that I could enter the deep roads and boom, once again dumped to the menu.

I know there was a patch fairly recently when I put the disc into the 360, but since I had all acheivements a while back I had been playing other things while waiting on DA2 and then DA2 itself for a while so I don't know how far back this update is.

Anyone else have a similar problem? The only other thing I can think of is that I somehow ran into the shopkeeper inventory save corruption issue but I'm fairly sure I haven't as I've been making sure to sell things all over to avoid that.
