Although I love both abilities, using them can be kind of a hassle since they have to be target right at a single enemy to use them. What if you were able to aim before using the ability, like Cone of Cold? I feel like that's how they should work.
What do you guys think?

The cone template would work well with scatter, and archer's lance could be aimed at the ground I guess.

I'd certainly like that with scatter. Maybe archer's lance. I'd have to try it out a bit.

actually scatter can be triggered from the radial and go off instantly with out any regard to the warrior's positioning. Could be 10 feet from an enemy and go off. It's why I wont tactic it. Ive had it kill group members in the blink of an eye.
But yes, with out the radial it is only when right next to a target while targetting it. The range is short by about .3m IMO. with the given arc of the ability, you are forced to be right in the face of the target.
