Hi,

I would like to swap the head of my female Hawk with the one of the default Bethany
(hf_bethany_h1s1). Note: She died anyway
since I'm playing as a mage.
How would I go about it?

I read, or lets say tried to read, the “can we start swapping models” topic but honestly I
don't get it at all.
It was way easier with the DA:O and the toolset.

Anyway so I need pyGFF: http://social.biowar...ect/1936/#files
Okay I got that but then I'm lost.

I open up a save game and it looks kinda similar to the Toolset but where do I force the game
to display a head morph instead of the current custom head?

I guess it must be somewhere in Index 6002 right?
The probably Index 16320 for appearance? - Sound logical and is the same as the Toolset.
Then 16328 for Morph?
But what do I use as value here?

Does someone care to explain this plain and simple?

Edit: Okay this forum software seems to work different than others I use...

Okay got it so bascially I really just have to change the same line as it was in the toolset.
Well that was way easier than I thought...

Edit: Or not.
Ok I can change my Hawks appearance like this but once I return to the estate
it will reset back to my costume appearance.:(
How do I prevent this?

Change the Bethany file name to hf_cgn_001.mop. Package it into an .erf file using Thought Process's tool. Put the .erf into your /patch folder. Select the head during the character creation and fiddle with the sliders to make it look exactly right.

I'm sorry that was rather in-comprehensive.

I don't have an actual file for Bethanys face. I just have the name of the mor which was in the model swapping discussion. How do I get such a file?
What tool? Where is it?

You wrote there:

V. This part is
optional and is about the FACE. Open 'Faces.txt' and choose the face
you want to use (em_orsino = ELF MALE _ First Enchanter Orsino;
hf_mother = HUMAN FEMALE _ Leandra) and you need to edit
'Savegame_Appearance_Morph_Name' which is in
'Savegame_Appearance'

And this is exactly what I did and it does not work. Once I return to the estate or Gamlins home it reverts back to the costume face I made in the CC.

Edit: Why does the board always adds new indentions in my posts?

*bump*

I'm still looking for a solution.

I enter Bethany's face mor into the character appearance column for hawk and it works but once I return to the base e.g. the estate it will revert back to my old custom face.

Adding the mor to the chargenmorph will result in a distorted facial structure which will have not much in common with Bethany.
