I'm going to guess though that because I was ignoring him, even though I was a mage, that he thought I was a templar and went along with the plan.
The question is did anyone not do his quests just for the reason of hoping the chantry wouldn't explode?

Didn't stop me from mouthing "goddamnit Anders" now and then during quests.

I have no idea how they'd account for it -- I haven't played that option yet. But I imagine it goes: "Hey look! It's Anders! We knew beforehand he was a murdering jerk. You should have gotten out of the city when you could have." <Insert Murder Knife Here.>

Admit it, you tricked them, telling them you'd keep the chantry save from all the bloodmages and abominations

Isn't that what a relationship is? Caniving and scheming on ways to trick, planning your words even though you know you won't go through just to get what you want? ;D

I know it's possible to kick him out of your party if he does a certain thing during a quest.

So because I am a bad person doesn't mean I can't complain about the obvious bad person named Anders? I am so bad that I complain about bad people to cover up my evil.
